Eh, only if you're looking at a list of dudes who were drafted ahead of you. This is the range Steve Avila should be looked at

I think if a 1st round graded player was still there, that would make them consider such a move, perhaps a high 2nd rd guy as well.Ok - 1st off I’m pumped about Forbes.
But like I said earlier man I’d be very hard pressed to give up my 3rd. I’d probably move up a few slots for Sanders (gives you pass rush) or Hyatt…not a G.
This would be ideal.Wouldn’t mind dealing back from 26, then up from 58.
Make two picks between 35-45.
For some reason, I dont think they'll be targetting a corner. If Dallas took Forbes at 26 (I’d be thrilled) then a guy like Gibbs started falling into the second round… I’d have zero issues with moving up to get a back like him.
Coming out of the first two days with Forbes and Gibbs would have me fired up.
I might do it for a guy like Hyatt, but I’m not so sure. Maybe Washington if the team really likes him.
But yeah, I’ve been thinking recently that I’d go get Gibbs if he’s still there in the early second.
It better be early, real early coz there is no way in hell he's getting out of the top 5 of 2nd round........shoot the Eagles may pull the trigger at 30. It's the kind of dirty crap Roseman would do (LOL)I’ve been thinking recently that I’d go get Gibbs if he’s still there in the early second.
I agree.......I'm just not feeling it at 26. I think the way Bland played last season takes a lot of pressure off the position. For some reason, I dont think they'll be targetting a corner.
JMO.
Yeah, it would have to be really early. We don’t know how much Dallas likes him, but if they feel about him the same way I do… then it might be worth it to them to move up that high.It better be early, real early coz there is no way in hell he's getting out of the top 5 of 2nd round........shoot the Eagles may pull the trigger at 30. Maybe, maybe not. Nobody is really sure because they can go so many different directions. And of course, who is available at their pick will, in large part, determine which way they go.For some reason, I dont think they'll be targetting a corner.

Dlaw is a good template for that kind of trade. You make that move for a player at a premium position who fell. We traded for Dlaw because we thought he was the last legit edge rusher. People raged because Koney Elay was available at our original pick and some thought he may go in the first. Turns out Elay was garabge and Dlaw was worth the steep price. You are likely talking a late 3rd. Dont throw that away in a guy at a non premium positionIt’s basically going to be the guys I thought were options at 26 that fell.
Whatever top 30 ish money position falls.
Im not trading up for a G, TE, 2 down DT etc…
What happens to Anthony Brown?isnt our.slot guy coming back too?Maybe, maybe not. Nobody is really sure because they can go so many different directions. And of course, who is available at their pick will, in large part, determine which way they go.
It’ll be interesting, for sure.
Brown is on the street. Dont know if Dallas has much interest in him right nowWhat happens to Anthony Brown?isnt out slot guy coming back too?
Exactly.....tired of talking about it (lol)’m just ready to get to draft day. I’m tired of waiting.
Mingo. #1 WR or Tee Higgins like #2I was looking at the trade chart last night, the Cowboys can get as high as pick #44 if they trade their 3rd, pick #90. Giving up 129 (4th), will get up to pick #54. Who would you target at pick #44?

If you are telling me Dallas can move back into the second round from 26, and then move up in the second round with the natural second round pick and get two of these guys, then I am on board. If any of these were available I'd be happy to move up to get them. Ideally we drop back in the 1st and move up in the 2nd and end up with two of these guys.
- Steve Avila
- Mazi Smith
- O'Cyrus Torrence
- Darnell Washington
This is the point of my thread, land two top targets rather then 1 and two solid ones. Gibbs and a few others could have either a 1st rd or high 2nd rd grades. If Dallas took Forbes at 26 (I’d be thrilled) then a guy like Gibbs started falling into the second round… I’d have zero issues with moving up to get a back like him.
