It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to make something up (to create controversy, you know... the thing the media is paid to do) and claim it was from and "Anonymous source".

Actually, there's no guarantee the "Ding dong" comment came from the same guy.

The rest of the quote wasn't even that damning. It was more about Wade gaining control of the locker room and being glad that a lot of the drama was gone. Not much inflammatory there.

For all we know, the other part came from someone else or a guy putting words in someone's mouth.

Regardless, he's gone. Let it go and move on.
