Growing up in the the 90's the playmaker was always my favorite Dallas Cowboy. Despite his off the field issues #88 brought it every Sunday. He was a joy to watch.

Emmitt was my favorite player as a kid, but as I look back on the time period from an older age I am more of an Irvin fan.

My favorite player of all time is Bill Bates. He was a RKG before it was cool. My favorite star is probably Emmitt, both players took their game way beyond their talent level and played every game like it was their last.

All time? Lets just say I got misty eyed when Emmitt broke the record.
Current? DeMarcus Ware

I was always a big fan of Emmitt and even though Prime is more Falcon than Cowboy I was a huge fan of his while he sported the star.

As a kid it was Randy White. He was a beast.
In the 90s it was Irvin (Tolbert was 2nd).
Currently it's Romo (with Witten and Ware right behind him).

All time TD. Current would be Bruce Carter because of his ties to UNC.

I hear ya. You can not compare with the passion Irvin brought to the game.
Bob Hayes, Bob Lilly, Lee Roy Jordan, Tony D., Roger Staubach, Harvey Martin, Emmitt, Larry Allen, Charles Haley and Tom Landry.

That list is kind of hard to top.

When I was young 1a Tony Dorsett. 1b Danny White
All time Emmitt. Some people don't realize how good he really was.
Today, Romo and it's not even close.
