Orlando Scandrick, first because he's a Boise State Bronco, like myself, second he's a nice guy(whom I've met twice) and third I love his confidence and toughness, he's got all the physical talent, but you can tell he has that corner attitude, and he loves to hit.

Plus he's a monster on special teams, just ask June Jones.

It will never happen, but Jason Williams.

Realistically, Kyle Kosier. That means he's healthy again and held off Holland. I want a healthy, collective Oline this year.

Montrae Holland... I hope he shows up in good shape, and wins the starting LG job... the Cowboys' OL would be immeasurably better if he does, I like the thought of Kyle Kosier as the top backup at G, if the injury bug bites, but I like Holland's size and strength better as the starter...

IOW, I'm not down on Kosier, I just think that a motivated Holland would make the Cowboys' offense better...

I would not mind seeing a good battle for the LG spot either way it is a no lose situation. Kosier has shown he can play the position very well but if Holland can play it even better then the Cowboys benefit. Now let’s see if Holland is taking his career seriously and comes into camp in shape and ready to compete.

Tashard Choice

Me too...I really like what Choice brings as a full time back. Even if he doesn't start for us this year, I get the feeling he will soon enough.

For some reason, I wanna see Manuel Johnson make the team. Not start, obviously, but I'm rooting for him to at least make the 53 man roster. I also really really like Butler, again, for some unknown reason. I love his attitude off the field and his hustle on the field

I've never liked Newman. He's just never lived up to being the #5 pick when he isn't hurt with something.

I've been on the Miles Austin bandwagon for 3 years now. He continues to be my favorite "underdog" player. The only other one that I can think of is for Bobby Carpenter to either step up or step out.

Not looking for him to win a starting job... but really pulling for the guy to make the 53 man roster: Steve Octavian.

He is aggressive, athletic, mobile, tough and plays the game the way I think a LB should. He plays mean and with an attitude... something that our defense needs more of IMO.

In other words, he's the Anti-Carpenter... and I'm pulling for Steve-O to make the roster over the former first rounder.

Having James and Brooking as the starters and then having Hodge, J Williams, and Octavian as the reserves would suit me just fine.

Another name -- Stanback. While not a "pet player" of mine, I don't like how so many have written him off. This is only his second full offseason as a WR. I hope he shows that he's worth a roster spot because otherwise he may be gone.
