Why are people acting like getting Lee back is a "bonus"?

Lee could get a season ending injury in training camp or he could be the MVP in the Super Bowl.

Or somewhere in between.

We simply do not know.

Why do so called fans hate on a player so much??? Do you think he wants to get hurt???

Lee is a guy that gives 100% and is our best defender.

Sorry that isn't enough for guys. You act as if the snarkier you get the quicker he will be gone and you can move on to your next friendly fire target.

Because he is changing positions and won't take the beating

Has this been confirmed? I have heard it discussed, should the Cowboys retain the services of Rolando, but last I heard Rolando is still a Free Agent.

I've mentioned this in a couple of threads where members were tossing him in the mix of players who will be starting. They proclaim our defensive unit as a whole will be above par. All the while overlooking what likely will be the inevitable. I suspect they are in denial and want to believe what they want to believe.

That's probably why they have signed 3 LBs with NFL starting experience and added another one at the end of last season.

NFL starting experience isn't much of a metric, unless they were actually counted on as starters. Gachkner and Brinkley aren't starters, anymore than Terrell McClain is. Neither one of them has earned a permanent starting position on their respective teams. They are special teams or camp fodder only, but you know that.

They are somewhere between full time starters and emergency starters. Brinkley has started 33 NFL games and 15 of 16 one season.

Brinkley ain't here to play outside.....Also I don't think there is any market for Rolando and he knows that

Until Rolando is inked, Lee to WLB is speculation.

I think Lee to WLB is almost a given, I think this team may be to the point where him in the middle is detrimental to his health. If McClain is signed it will cement it, if McClain isn't signed they have other options but I would still say 75% sure Lee will not be the opening day starter at MLB.
