Whether we can or can't afford to keep Rico is a pregnant question. On one hand, he bears promise to prove useful in certain circumstances, such as his red zone ability to score. In others, such as route running and blocking, there's work to be done. His future is really hanging on the prospects of his ability to overcome his deficiencies in those areas. It's likely to boil down to a question of numbers when the final cuts are made. There's lotsa talent in house to be weighed this year. Good luck to him in that respect -- he may very well need a big break from the looks of things, imho.
