No need for elaboration if you don't want, but I'd like to see if you can name one play or moment that swayed you to like or dislike Dak as a player.
My moment was when he was on the bench and he threw his Gatorade cup to the trashcan and missed. He stood up, picked it up and put it in the trashcan. That was the moment that I started rooting hard for him.
@Ranching No one is going to answer this truthfully....the people that dislike him...the people who dislike him will just say "I have nothing against Dak....I just think he's a bus driver/average/(fill in the blank)".
I don't drink beer, but I get the point.
Indeed,, Dak and Byron would make great senators...Just listen to him talk. He is a born leader, a motivator, and a real action hero. The Gatorade cup thing just shows the integrity that is ingrained in him. He's a solid good guy as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he served as a senator or governor in his time after football. Getting injured in the line of duty last season only strengthens the affection fans have for him, He's now the sports world equivalent of a war hero. He has a great story that will make a great movie someday.
He moment Romo went down with his back injury. Dak came in and moved the team. It was obvious the team would play for him.No need for elaboration if you don't want, but I'd like to see if you can name one play or moment that swayed you to like or dislike Dak as a player.

I like his whole story. His mother dying while he was in college. No one giving him much of a chance in college and the pros. But the one thing that stood out to me besides his ability as a top NFL QB was when he got hurt last year and how all his teammates rallied to his side. I’d never seen such emotion from the players over an injured player. It was the nail in the head about something I already knew in that he was a leader. Someone the players will play their *** off for. Some people just have it and some don’t. We’ve all seen it in life especially those in the military. There’s some you’ll go to extreme lengths to support them and then there are those you’d frag. That type of leadership that Dak has accompanied with his QB skills will give this team a chance every year. But like any great QB, this is a team sport and you have to be strong in all 3 areas not to mention coaching to take it all the way.No need for elaboration if you don't want, but I'd like to see if you can name one play or moment that swayed you to like or dislike Dak as a player.

You react to the Dak extremists on this board and engage in countless posts and while they are entertaining, its pointless.I don't dislike somebody I don't even know. I can separate the player from the person.
By all accounts he is a very good person, so I have no reason to dislike him.
I don't even dislike him as a player (I have him ranked 11th). I dislike the amount of praise he gets for the little amount that he has done so far. I've watched Cowboys fans tear QBs new ones (Romo), but yet act like Dak is above criticism. I see people on here willing to throw any player under the bus from Romo to Aikman if they think it can give Dak a little clout.
At the end of the day I hope Dak proves me wrong. If Dak is proving me wrong then that will mean the Cowboys are doing well and that's all that matters to me. I would be elated if Dak retires as the greatest Cowboy ever or even the greatest Cowboys QB ever. If he does that then that means we got some rings along the way. I'd like for him to lead us to something, anything, first before we put him in the Ring of Honor, that's all.
Probably right but so very wrong,, really hadnt considered that ever,, but if I identify any that clearly are that off mentally, than they will be the first to ever go on my ignore... society should be over that by now..There is no reason to dislike Dak.
Some people just hate Dak quarterbacks.
There were 2. One. When we were playing Pittsburgh in his rookie year and he sidestepped a tackle, stepped up in the pocket and dropped a dime to Dez for the long TD. (something we were all told he couldnt do) The throw was incredible his poise in that situation was incredible, and Romo knew at that moment he was never starting for us again. 2. The long run for the first down against Seattle. No need for elaboration if you don't want, but I'd like to see if you can name one play or moment that swayed you to like or dislike Dak as a player.
