umm....and how many has Folk missed?? 1 make isn't evidence, but the 5 or 6 misses is plenty. You have two kickers, one of which apparently is suffering from terminal yips. Vanderjagkt(sp) would have been beheaded by now. I'd be curious to see how many he missed before getting exiled. I think it's safe to say there will (or maybe already happening) some calls made to some fat kickers sitting on the couch. We just need someone to hit a filed goal from say....40 yards and in. We don't have that in folk at the moment. Give Buehler a shot, he's done everything to earn it....as in making his one attempt he was given a chance to do. I'd bet money he will be kicking the crap out of FGs in practice.

There is definately a problem with Folk....even his XP, weren't going straight.

When it's in a Kicker's head, there is a problem.

Remember back when he had to kick a 52 yarder, he made it yet the other team called a Timeout....he came right back and kicked it again.

He said later that he could have done it a 3rd or 4th time....that was confidence....he just doesn't have the confidence right now.

I also noticed in slow-motion, that he is REALLY kicking it with the side of his foot instead of the front and a little bit to the side.

He doesn't have the confidence in GAMES....he may have it in practice, but once the lights come on, something flips for him.

You can't have a kicker on your team that is struggling to the point that he is.

Now, is Buehler the other option? I'm hesitant on that as well....he wasn't brought here to be a FG kicker and I don't know that the coaching staff has had him practicing that alot...I could be wrong on that...especially as of late.

He was 9 for 13 of FG's his last year and also missed on XP out of 66 attempts.

The previous year he was 16-19 on FG's and missed two XP out of 54 attempts.

Against rival UCLA, missed 3 out of 4 FG's....confidence issue in a big game? I don't know......we'll ese how this plays out.

Vanderjagt was an *** and players and coaches hated him. He also wasn't a young kicker who we might deeply regret cutting.

While I don't disagree with you, your "analysis" turned me off your original point. It's not like it needed any in depth thing: you're not trying to sell condom's to nuns-- there's a big group that wants Buehler to start; don't try to analyze stats that don't exist.
