Why does everyone hate Bobby Carpenter..?

I don't. I actually like the kid and hope he gets a shot.

At the same time, I am not at all averse to trading him or waiving him if he is not one of the best 53 for the roster. As long as he is one of the best 53 he is welcome as far as I am concerned.

That salary may do him in if his role doesn't improve because he makes too much money to simply cover kickoffs and punts.

I don't hate him, he hasn't made enough good or bad plays for me even to opine on the man. He is just a bust

I don't hate him. In fact I have something of a man crush on him. I swoon when I see him without his helmet on and during the games I scream "CARPENTER SIGHTING" whenever I see him in on a play.

Also, he's at least a good player in Madden.

Bobby was drafted by Parcells, not Jerry.

Lets be fair here, everybody wants Jerry to hire a strong head coach and back off personnel like he did with Jimmy and Tuna.

The fact is that Tuna is the one that drafted this bust, so lets get the facts straight.

Jerry has not been that great of a GM, but saying all the good players were drafted by Jimmy and Tuna and all the bad players were drafted by Jerry is just not true.

Barbie is Tuna's fault, not Jerry's.

I think it is because he was a 1st rd pick who really has not done anything to speak of since entering the NFL. I don't hate him just disappointed he has not panned out

Carp will probably get a chance with a 4-3 team at some point and turn into a good, not great, player for them. He is just not suited to the type of Defense Dallas runs here and is pretty much wasted because of it.

I blame the Draft Room, not the player.

It wouldn't surprise me he's a mole. And if so then he can't get gone fast enough. I would overlook a lot for a player who can play or even that was cheaper to keep. But that would get me very upset.
