They DO have money and cap room. That’s another lie they tell when they say BS like, “we will look at players that make financial sense.” You have 2 year window right now, and in the current iteration of the NFL you have to be very aggressive in acquiring talent, which means overpaying FAs and making big trades. The Rams were in the NFCCG game and what did they do? Traded for an All Pro CB and signed another one to a huge deal because that was their biggest weakness. Dallas has no good AND healthy LBs, no edges and huge questions at CB. But they signed a decent safety and traded for a past his prime, low effort edge. Ridiculous.

This morning they were over the cap. The Osa trade nets us about 8 mil. It’s not like we haven’t spent money and created space
