He's having his best year yet, but sometimes I question his vision.

He isn't doing that poorly. Julius will be a solid contributor to the offense. Look at that screen pass versus the Colts for instance.

He showed vision in previous years so I think it is in his head and a big part of that is the situations the Cowboys are giving him.

i was thinking that too. but did he just lose it from his rookie year?

I'm not sure Julius has had a good RB vision. thats including his rookie year. The difference as you probably have already noticed is that he doesnt cut to the outside anymore. (2 examples would be the Seattle game, Chicago game where HE DID do that. ) Im guessing BP's is terrorized on losing yardage or sumthing, and is makin JJ run up the middle. I just think he needs to bust to the outside and make a move

I have a clue that your way off base in your assessment.

Perhaps you think that "he sucks" because he splits carries. This is one of Julius' best years. He hasn't been sidelined by an injury.

I also think that you're not considering the fact that Barber is the Redzone guy. So, that takes away from some of his carries, TD attemps etc.

I think the most obvious blunder in your assessment is that you're indicating that he sucks this year, as opposed to previous year.

I think most would agree that this has been his most solid year yet. Sure, he had a good half of a season, but our running game is a real threat with both backs running the ball - this year.

How could he "suck" if he's been a major part of the most productive offense in the NFL (2006)?

You're assessment has zero foundation. And your point is illegitiamate and extremely fallible considering what our team has accomplished with the running game this year.

You might try the Wal-Mart eye center. That should be a good place for you to start at.

give him some draws on 3rd and 25 and i bet that old average goes back up.one big factor is if you look at the first of the year he was in there in the 4th qtr when the defense gets wore down. the first qtr is the hardest qtr to run in. everyones fresh, thats why most rb's like 20+ carries to wear down the "d", then they get their yards.some say the rb gets stronger as the game goes on, not really, the defense gets wore down

its a possibility. wut I dont understand (if this is the case) why is Bill making JJ run up the middle, if we have Barber to do this? JJ to me is like a plane, u gotta let em fly.

What's your point?

They share carries.

Total yards for the season?

What you're not getting is that we take a running back by committe approach.

That kind of stuff is going to happen. Barber is a good back, but I don't get how that leads to .... "julius sucks".

We have a potent offense with him running the ball.

I love how people take a small sample from a couple of games, and then draw some silly end-all-tell-all conclusion as they make some absurd assertion that Julius Jones "sucks so bad".

I mean, most fans can see how ridiculous, and troll-like, a comment like this is.

Either that, or you just don't know what you're talking about.

My guess is the latter....

JJ needs to just use his natural abilities and not just run straight up the gut.

I also wonder if maybe he's put on a little too much muscle and can't cut as well.

Yawn, watch him do his annual 200 yard primetime bonanza this week and everyone will cheer again.
