Why don't we put Sam out there? See what he can do

Don't see why not, it isn't like he would start. He would only be called on during passing downs. If he doesn't show, I doubt he would get snatched before making it back to the PS. Ryan Williams is on the PS and he is better than Dunbar/Randle.

Let's put him out there. Just set him loose. Attack, attack, attack!

We have no pass rush so it couldn't get less than what it is.

Maybe he will be a spark!

Actually, I think it's possible they're even thinking of putting Edwards out there, since we're getting him back.

This was my problem with him coming to Dallas in the first place. When do people long for players on the practice squad to be added to the active roster? It never happens! If we sustain some injuries at the position he plays...I could see him potentially being brought up. But often those guys are there to practice, get stronger, add/lose weight, adjust to the speed of the NFL, improve technique etc...not to be a lightning rod for the fans!

Not a lightning rod.

Why not give him a shot! Plain and simple.
He would have been drafted higher anyways.

I think he is strong enough,he has those long arms which he actually uses it to good effect as opposed to our DEs who are just hand fighting with the tackles and just cant disengage even if their life depended on it.

there is no reason to bring him up now. he is not ready. there is more to playing the position than just rushing the passer. give the kid a chance to develope and then see what he can do. i think some want him brought up just so he fails and they can bash the decision

Ready as opposed to who? This D-Line didn't even sniff the QB this past Sunday. Seriously- if we don't start getting pressure on the QB, we may have won our last game of the season.

I forgot he was on the team until just now. I think an injury to a DE and he's pulled up.

I have to agree. Take the other story out of it and he is a rookie 7th rounder who got cut from the team that drafted him and was not picked up by any active roster. If he can play, then great, but I don't get the chompin a the bit act to get him on the roster. Was anyone pushing for Robert Callaway to get on the field last year?

Why don't we put him out there?.....Hmmm, probably because the coaches who see him in practice everyday already see what he can do and it isn't enough to be worthy of a roster spot.

Dallas has THREE sacks in three games. Of those three sacks, our Dline has accounted for 0.5 (Melton)

Dallas needs help at DE. At this point, with DLaw still 6-7weeks away and Spencer just now getting work in. Why not? Why not Sam now? Seriously, if he has 0sacks and can't get any pressure on the QB, then Dallas is no better or worse than they are right now.

The downside is that Dallas is in the same position they're in now.

The upside is that Dallas maybe finds some life at Dline.

I know the idea of playing Michael Sam makes some people light headed, but get over yourself. It's a game and if the guy can play, why not get him in there?

The coaches get to see all of these guys everyday and if they don't feel that he is good enough to be on the 53 then why are arm chair fans screaming to put this guy on the field?

We might as well put Derek Jeter out there in a couple weeks. He'll be available since he wont be playing any post season games. :D

Knowing him and the way he plays he would probably get a sack on his first snap! Lol

Ain't out yet.... ;-)
