Why has Jason Garrett not been called out?

Patriots have also had their top 3 RBs injured and are starting BenJarvus Green-Ellis, an undrafted rookie. Imagine if we had lost Romo in the first snap of the season and were starting Keon Lattimore at RB. Is there any doubt we would be 0-9 at this point?

Anyone who tries to downplay the importance of the system and play calling needs to be put down.

Sometimes "execution" is nothing more than the quarterback hitting the ocean from a rowboat. Great offensive coordinators create a lot of those situations.

Sean Payton, Mike Shanahan, Mike Martz, and Mike Holmgren do that.

Jason Garrett doesn't do that.

It's pretty hard to "execute" when teams are doubling your best offensive player and you don't do anything to try to create mismatches for him and throw off the defense. It's hard to "execute" when defenses can basically predict EXACTLY what play has been called and defend it perfectly.

I remember in the first Skins game last year, we ran that play where TO runs down the middle of the defense and splits the safeties for a TD. They said at that time they inserted that play just for the Skins. Since then, I can't remember a play run specifically to try to free TO up. We did try to run some slants with him thsi week, but Johnson was totally ineffective.
