Zeke probably wants a bigger contract than what's been offered and most teams are waiting for the draft first. Zeke now is nowhere near prime Zeke. Teams are likely offering on the low end and if they can't get their rb in the draft, they might offer him a mid level contract.

He was so injured that he played in a meaningless Week 18 game against the Eagles practice squad in 2021 just to get over 1,000 yards for the season when our playoff position was already locked up. As soon as he passed 1,000 yards after his 18 carries, the 3rd most he had in a game that season, he came out.

If he wants to play, he will be picked up, but he was a big money guy, so I'm sure most teams are waiting for the best deal.

Also, I would think someone could make a deal with him, but he was designated a June 1 release. Maybe they can talk but not have an official deal until after June 1. I know we can't spend that money until June 1, so .............
