For me, I see no fight.

No fight to keep Dez from taking the #1 receiver job.

No fight to regain the spot when he did lose it.

No fight to stay healthy with regard to the hamstrings.

No fight to hold off Williams for the #2 role.

No fight to get back on the field.

People can talk about circumstances differently, but that's honestly how I see it.

lol

See what i mean, TT?

Question comes to mind.. how the hell is he supposed to show you "fight" to get back on the field?

Take pictures of his workout sessions and post them on twatter?

Umm, Austin never had good hands. He's butter fingers. When he does catch it, he's explosive. Well, used to be.

Maybe just show up and not hide like a girl? Maybe not being content to stay hurt and cash his paycheck?

What has anyone heard from Miles Austin since he got paid?

Answer, not much.

For one of the biggest salaries on the team, you sure don't hear much from him one way or the other.

Certainly nothing from any sort of leadership position.

I see a guy making tons of money and not contributing - fact.

And that's good enough for me to want to see that dynamic end.

Austin is severly overpaid even when he is healthy which by the way is never and quite frankly he is not needed here with the emergence of Beastly and Williams.

He wont be a Cowboy come June 1st.

He has steadily gotten worse since we gave him a 54 million dollar contract.
He can't stay healthy.
He drops too many passes.

I don't dislike him, but he hasn't done anything that makes me want to just hand him his job back even when he does get healthy. Our 3rd round rookie has outplayed him this season and is a heck of a lot cheaper.

Its really hard to igore that money. I agree.
I have no idea how that contract is broken down but its just way, way too much.

Who's gonna be the first to post T Will's multiple TD's in just the first season he's played? Also the fact that many were wondering (myself) why we drafted him but then he shut us all up. Done with Miles. Bye.

I think it's pathetic when some fans become HATE-HEADS if Cowboy players... perhaps because of injuries, aging or whatever... lose the ability to produce on the field.

It's one thing if a guy won't suit up, mails it in or assassinates his teammates/coaches. I can understand hatred there. But I find some posters devoid of heart and soul when they have to spit the cancer-loogies on former warriors for the Star.

It's like a child who says: give me exactly what I want and I'll like you…otherwise I'll go terrible-two nuclear on your ***.

The cancer-loogies I've read about on this forum lobbed towards Ware, Witten, Romo and Austin lately are classless, clueless, gutless and soulless.

Criticism is one thing…but calling some of our star players trash or bums or worse is so out of line. A HATE-HEAD is a hollow head.

I feel like many people actually dont like Miles Austin at all. I know his pay is way more than someone with production should be pulling in. The hamstrings have been a thorn in the side on the team for a long time. These are serious issues, I agree. However, I dont see where these many posts about Beasley getting his reps are coming from. Williams is a nice story but he clearly doesnt have the hands as Austin.
He isnt far removed from thousand yard seasons. If you noticed him in the Giants game he looked as explosive as I remember him ever being. The guy has never caused any off the field problems and has carried out his duties in a very professional manner. If you take a look at Cowboys all time stats you might be shocked at what hes meant to the Cowboys. I cant wait to see him on the field this year showing his explosive abilities again.
