He’s below average in the playoffs

I was being generous

Nobody cares about his stat padding vs bottom feeders
Don't forget: the playoffs have never happened. Dak has never played in the playoffs. All his stats are impeccable, because Dak has never played in the playoffs. They don't exist.

The lack of Logic of Dakmania crowd never ceases to astound me.

If the Dallas defense sucked and they are to blame for losing, then why aren’t all the bottom-feeder defenses that Dak gets to play and pad his stats against not the reason for his “greatness”?

There also statistical proof dak chokes in the playoffs and against winning teams..two can play that game.
Are we including his playoff success under Garrett who's no longer in the league and is an embarrassment of a coach? Are we including his playoff success with Quinn as a DC who got exposed in the playoffs? I love how none of the other highly paid QB's are forced to win DESPITE poor coaching, poor execution from other teammates, and poor planning from their front office.
This notion that Dak is supposed to shoulder the load and lift EVERYONE else up in the playoffs against superior coaching/scheming. When Mahomes has struggled in the playoffs he was able to lean on his defense to make big plays and his coach to out scheme the competition.
But Dak is supposed to be mistake free and a superhero even though we as fans can all I see all of the areas outside of QB where we struggle.

It sounds like you want Dak signed so bad you have no concerns what it does to the rest of the team.

What's the next option? Who cares at this point, the current QB can't get the job done, or maybe doesn't care. Paying Dak 60 mil a season knowing full well he only cares for himself and his bank account isn't going to be good enough. Screw that.
You know what Dak cares about?
I want Dak signed because as a Cowboys fan I know he's our best option to win and compete. And as a fan I'd hate to see him somewhere else, especially within the division.

Just wanting the "unknown" and giving up entirely on a team that is one of the best in the league currently is crazy to me.

Never happened Tad…. The Cowboys defense did just fine against the 49ers two years in a row…. Dak had zero problems moving the ball when the Packers put in their second-string scrubs and went prevent…

Garrett had zero control over the offense since 2014… if Dak played under his play calling like jones did in NY, Dak would be out the league already…

What was Dak's stat line against the 49ers, and how many points did the Packers score on the cowboys before putting in their 2nd string

An unknown ......... we know what we have now ....... and he falls apart in the playoffs
Cooper Rush didn't do too bad when he got to play. He won almost every game out of about 6. 5 out of 6 , I believe.

1. Not sure this is a comeback. How many points to he gift the 49ers offense with his TOs and how many points did the Dallas defense hold the 49ers too? The stat line said Dak couldn’t score, you know the most important stat of all..

2. So Dak can move the ball only against 2nd string scrubs? Got it..

Thanks for proving my point..

Dak threw 1 pick vs the 49ers.
The Packers out schemed us on both sides of the ball.

While you're proving points, what's your plan after we let Dak walk for nothing? Just enjoy mediocrity knowing Dak didn't get paid with money that affects you in no way whatsoever? got it

Ask Jerry what he thought about his QB at halftime of the GB game.

I'll bet Jerry went to the bathroom and puked.
Ask him what he thought about his Def Coordinator and his All Pro WR who froze and his teammates who stood by and did NOTHING when he was getting punked by Green Bay players

Millionaire's don't teach billionaire's lessons or have leverage on them unless they want it to appear that way...they just aren't comfortable paying Dak, playoff successful QB money. End of story.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
I think Dak's agent is teaching the Jones's a lesson. They could've extended him years ago, they chose to tag him twice. They chose to allow him to play out the last season while letting the price continue to rise. They chose to sit on their hands at the beginning of Free Agency and watch other players like Trevor Lawrence reset the market. They chose to send a message to the media that they were playing hardball. They chose to allow his last contract to include a no trade clause.
And I believe Todd France is now playing hardball with them. France is a part of Athlete's First agency, the same agency that represents Tua Tag... and Jordan Love. I think the Jones's have already given France a number, but because they've taken so long, and he was privy to what the Tua and Love deals would look like, he's decided to wait and allow them to reset the market first. Let the Jones's sit and wait and look like the morons that they are. And in the end when it's all said and done, the Jones's will have either:
A)
Waited too long to pay Dak, and will now be forced to overpay their QB that is highly coveted by other teams in need of an All Pro QB
or
B) Been forced to let him walk, carry over dead money into next season, and because of the no trade clause lose a HIGHLY coveted All Pro QB in his prime for NOTHING in return and with no certainty whatsoever of what the QB position will look like moving forward.

So when Jerry says they're trying and doing their best, he's not lying. At this point the best they can do is wait to be told what the price will be and make a decision on whether they want to keep their QB and their team intact to make another run at the playoffs. OR concede that they've ruined the Cowboys chances at competing for a super bowl and that Jerry will more than likely never see a QB as talented as Dak is, play for the Cowboys again.

And for anyone who hates Dak and thinks he's incapable of winning the big one, I can't say for certain that he can, but I like his chances if you give him a decent coaching staff which he hasn't had for the majority of his career, as well as a decent Front Office that would've known better than to extend Zeke and Jaylon Smith before prioritizing their franchise QB. This would've opened up more flexibility and options for the team long term.

Thank you Todd France for exposing their ineptitude.
Actually, the Cowboys called his bluff.

He wanted 80M per in March because he thought they would have to sign Dak in order to lower this seasons cap hit.

They proved that they are content to carry his current cap hit all season (No free agents available now).

They can Lower CeeDee's 2024 cap hit if he signs a new contract (i.e. No extra 2024 cap space needed).
