Dak will get paid. I agree with that. I just hope his new contract becomes someone else's problem.
Yes, well the Cowboys have enough problems without needing anymore. Realizing the difficulty top players have getting the Cowboys to pay what they think they’re worth I wonder if Dak’s success with the no tag/no trade clause is or will be a demand for same by Lamb and Parsons. They have front row seats, so to speak, to the contentiousness dealing with Jerry. Their agents may well be looking for similar contract language on behalf of their clients.

I don’t know how in what universe you see Daks head being puffed up. He’s been a good soldier this entire time regardless of the crap coaches they pair him with, regardless of how much blame is directed at him, regardless of how ungrateful the fans are.
He’s made plays, he’s entertained us, he’s led us to the playoffs, he’s a model citizen and never complains. And in return we paid Zeke and Jaylon Smith before him. We’ve tagged him twice. We’ve let him sit in limbo waiting to find out his future w the organization while getting shredded by fans.
But somehow HE is the one w the inflated ego for deciding he needs to be paid what he’s worth? At one point $30M was considered too much. They ****ed around and found out and now the price has doubled. We could have him here on a discount as well as Amari Cooper.
For some reason the common fan gives billionaire owners a pass while calling the players greedy. This is crazy to me

worth ? You may Value him Mr France at 60$ , but thats in your reality . Those of with eyes see no Value even at your 30 .

I hope Dak enjoys Tamps, i really do . Good luck !

I think Dak's agent is teaching the Jones's a lesson. They could've extended him years ago, they chose to tag him twice. They chose to allow him to play out the last season while letting the price continue to rise. They chose to sit on their hands at the beginning of Free Agency and watch other players like Trevor Lawrence reset the market. They chose to send a message to the media that they were playing hardball. They chose to allow his last contract to include a no trade clause.
And I believe Todd France is now playing hardball with them. France is a part of Athlete's First agency, the same agency that represents Tua Tag... and Jordan Love. I think the Jones's have already given France a number, but because they've taken so long, and he was privy to what the Tua and Love deals would look like, he's decided to wait and allow them to reset the market first. Let the Jones's sit and wait and look like the morons that they are. And in the end when it's all said and done, the Jones's will have either:
A)
Waited too long to pay Dak, and will now be forced to overpay their QB that is highly coveted by other teams in need of an All Pro QB
or
B) Been forced to let him walk, carry over dead money into next season, and because of the no trade clause lose a HIGHLY coveted All Pro QB in his prime for NOTHING in return and with no certainty whatsoever of what the QB position will look like moving forward.

So when Jerry says they're trying and doing their best, he's not lying. At this point the best they can do is wait to be told what the price will be and make a decision on whether they want to keep their QB and their team intact to make another run at the playoffs. OR concede that they've ruined the Cowboys chances at competing for a super bowl and that Jerry will more than likely never see a QB as talented as Dak is, play for the Cowboys again.

And for anyone who hates Dak and thinks he's incapable of winning the big one, I can't say for certain that he can, but I like his chances if you give him a decent coaching staff which he hasn't had for the majority of his career, as well as a decent Front Office that would've known better than to extend Zeke and Jaylon Smith before prioritizing their franchise QB. This would've opened up more flexibility and options for the team long term.

Thank you Todd France for exposing their ineptitude.
We have incompetent front office folks running this team?
Are you sure?
Lol.....

It sounds like you want Dak signed so bad you have no concerns what it does to the rest of the team.

What's the next option? Who cares at this point, the current QB can't get the job done, or maybe doesn't care. Paying Dak 60 mil a season knowing full well he only cares for himself and his bank account isn't going to be good enough. Screw that.
I think Jerry is going to follow Dak's advice, it's time to move on.

Then he should cut Dak now and insert Lance as QB1.
Cutting Dak doesn't save any money but more importantly perhaps he should wait until the end of TC before making any decision concerning Lance

Can the guy even play at an NFL level?.........after week 11s loss to the Texans it might be a good time to find out

Far from mediocre and there is statistic evidence for me to prove this, but I can't help people's emotions. that's something entirely different.
In the regular season, yes. But he's a choke artist come playoff time.

Dak threw 1 pick vs the 49ers.
The Packers out schemed us on both sides of the ball.

While you're proving points, what's your plan after we let Dak walk for nothing? Just enjoy mediocrity knowing Dak didn't get paid with money that affects you in no way whatsoever? got it
1. Did he throw just 1 pick in the two years he played against the 49ers? What happened against the 49ers before the bye, when they had to dumb down the offense again?

2. OK, Pats out-schemed us. When Dak is beating up on bad defenses, it’s not “out-scheming”. Dak can’t read a defense..

3. Dak sucks.. the mediocrity has been here for 9 years. They’ve catered to him in every way and he’s nothing but a walking let-down. 9 years of constant practice and training.. They’ve already wasted Sb ready rosters and number 1 ranked defense, particularly in TOs. If they listened to my plan they would have not wasted this much time already.

Dak is more than replaceable. Even a 5-1 noodle-arm Coopwr Rush proved it.

Thr fatal flaw of the Jones boys is the inability to discern when you have real talent vs fools gold.

Jerry and Stevie will be squealing like pigs in slop soon. Dak and ceedee about to get the bag after the Jones boys cave. Then they will proceed to tell the fans why they are genius strategists.

God I'm hoping it's B. Regardless of whether Dak stays here or goes somewhere else he will never win a Super Bowl in his career (as a starter). He just doesn't have it.

In Daks first deal JJ had a handshake deal with Dak and his agent. Was all giddy and was loving it. After the fins game france supposedly backed out of it and there was the beginning of the problem. Dak said he was in on the contract talks. Now we are at likely the last deal of Daks career. At least here with The Cowboys. Unless he gets us a ring. Both sides are not playing around.
