Why i think going defense with the 1st pick is a bad idea

The same people that wanted gordon and gurley to fall want them to draft elliott. The rest dont want to spend a first on a rb.

I really wanted Gordon last year. I have no desire for Zeke unless we trade out of the top half. He's okay but I want Fournette or Gurley if I'm picking a back in the top 10.

If we pick in our spots honestly I'd take Shaq Lawson at 4 in a large debate if ramsey and a qb is available. If ramsey goes to sd I'd trade tunsil worth for more picks or just take shaq. If Goff or Wentz is there that's the pick

absolutely.....Zeke is all Fan hype....Gurley and Fournette are premier backs.....IMO Derick Henry will be more productive then Zeke...

I won't say he is all hype. I think he is a first round talent. I just don't think he is a generational talent that a RB needs to be to justify taking one in the top 10.

I think Morris and DMC can get us thru this year. I like Zeke but have cooled off on him a bit. I think next year with Fournette and Dalvin Cook are better choices.

Fournette will be top 10 next year barring injury, RBs will start to sneak up draft boards once again if Gurley and Zeke become star RBs drafted early day 1.

As good as Zeke is. RB is the easiest position in the league to fill. DMAC and Morris are more then enough for this team to get to where it wants to next season. Much more pressing needs then to burn such a premium pick on the easiest position in football to fill.
