Why I think Terell Owens will be a Cowboy.

I heard it too.

The vote took place immediately after a victorious TO taunted "Anyone else want some? Huh! I thought not!", following his thrashing of the oaf-like Hugh Douglas.

None of the craven Eagles were willing to take the valiant warrior up on his challenge, but once the vindicated TO strode confidently from the locker room, the little people crept out and formed a hesitant circle.

"He's crazy", they whispered. "Let's vote him off the island before he comes back and pummels some more of us'. Looking for support to their winded and dry-heaving leader McChunky, who had slunk behind a locker during Braveheart's challenge, the gutless wonders one by one turned their puny thumbs down. McChunkey, soaked in the sweat of his TO fear, voted twice.

Thus was Valiant TO, hero of the 2004 season, exiled from his own tribe, less than a year after his glory. The decision was unanimous, and Momma McChunky made a hearty pot of soup for all.

It sounds to me you copied that from Owens' own secret journal.

I'm pretty sure if it was from TO's secret journal he would have slayed a dragon in there somewhere. He seems to have a pretty active imagination.

I also heard a report about a team vote (on ESPN) but then Reid denied that it happened or at least that that was not what influenced the decision, which he made alone.

I heard that same report.

It was reported but Reid denied it when asked.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN WE PLEASE BAN AND DO HURTFUL THINGS TO THE.... PEOPLE... WHO MAKE ASININE "T.O. to Dallas!" THREADS??????

PLEASE PLEASE!

THESE ARE USUALLY THE SAME.... PEOPLE... WHO KEEP SAYING THE BOYS NEED TO BRING BACK QUINCY.

PLEASE PLEASE! BAN THESE... PEOPLE.

(My mother said don't call people names, so I won't. But know that the contempt I have these people is enormous and they are disgrace to the idea of fans of the TEAM).

How about we ban people who think they no more about running this forum then the mods do. Now slither back in the hole you came out of.

Actually, it came from Rosenhaus's.

He is another character in this soap opera I don't quite understand.

To me, I think he did more damage to himself today than he did to help Owens any.

His soapbox grandstanding and bellowing at the top of his lungs while Owens panted behind him was comical to say the least.

He reminded me quite a bit of Don King speaking for a pea-brained Palooka Mike Tyson standing behind him.

I would not root for him. I refuse to support him in any way shape or form. Just because he puts on a Cowboys uniform does not mean I'll suddenly support him. Football is not my life, I will not stop breathing if I stop following the Cowboys. Terrell Owens is everything that's wrong with sports. I would not root for him under any circumstances. I would just do something else with my time. I don't know why it's so hard for some people to grasp the concept that it's possible to do something else on Sundays.

dude dont fool yourself!!!
you'd still watch, you'd be to curious to see how good we look!!!

Haha, I just caught it now on Total Access. The word 'surreal' was misused as a description, but it quaiifed at least as theatre of the absurd.

Drew had that hammy Rod Steiger pick-your-favorite-film dictator thing goin on. Over the top - he needed just the toga.

Rosenhaus must be really upset about the potential loss of revenue/contracts down the road - his strategy completely backfired - and if there is any tribal vote taking place right now, my guess it's by the Drew Crew beginning to at least question its representation.

Wolverine - We normally agree. But this time, my brother, you are way off base. Sorry, calling it like I see it.

If he had a brain in his head, he would.

He has a bad reputation and has an affirmed sleaze as his agent.

That is a very bad combination. The only representation he could find that is any more of a turnoff to NFL management types are the Postons.

I remember when we gave a 2nd rounder to the 49ers for Charles Haley. He was supposed to be a locker room cancer. All I remember is that he caused no trouble in Big D and was the final piece to the puzzle in our SB run of the 90s.

Take TO with an incentive laden contract and let Bill handle his personality. Bill would probably have it in his contract that he couldn't talk to the media. :nono2:

As GM I would not offer him any more than we gave Pearless Price and I would hope that he didn't take it. I would not tie up any big money in him because I would expect to have to cut his sorry butt halfway through the season. His status would never be more secure than year to year so that he would never have the upper hand or even think that he did.

As a Cowboys fan if he came here I would still boo his every appearance on the field and would not cheer for his TD catches. It would be a sorry way to follow the Cowboys and I very well might just have to move on and watch Hockey or Basketball or something until he was gone.

And as far as I know, Owens has not defecated on the dashboard of an assistant coach's car yet.
