Flawed logic. Well flawed something.

We want to win the division and get a home game maybe even a bye. We want to win the game. If we don't we will play the next week on the road. Most everyone prefers a home game.

I don't want to play Philly 3x this year, period. They are probably the best team in the nfc if not the nfl, i dont like our odds there. They got Maclin and Jackson both healthy and bringing the heat, plus Westbrook back. I dont know who needs to lose or win as far as Vikings and Az but I want to play one of them.. not Philly. I know we can beat the Vikings and Az no matter if we got there or they come to us, I cant say the same about the eagles.

I kinda see what you're saying in regards to teams might having more fire and a sense of revenge if they're coming off a loss, but I totally disagree. I'd rather take my chances in beating a team 3 times in a season rather than come back and try to win after a loss (and to a hated division rival at that).

Heading into the playoffs you want to get in the habit of winning as much as possible even if you already have a playoff spot locked up. As we all know there's very little room for error in the playoffs, so it's best to get on a roll prior to the playoffs and keep the momentum going. Losing to the Eagles this week would damper that a bit IMO.

So you say the Eagles are the best in the NFC so how can the cowboys avoid them if they have plns of going to the SB?

In the words of Brian Billick

"You don't tip toeing into a Lion's Den, you kick down the door and say-"where is the SOB and give him everything you got"

And that's what I wanted to happy in the STINC

Yes. But I disagree and you seem fearful. You want us to lose so we can get a road playoff game? against a divisional opponent?

Read what you wrote again and slap yourself.

REST and HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE is overrated in the playoffs. Just ask the giants of 2007 and the steelers of 2005.

I rather face a over confident Eagles team in Lincoln Financial than a Mad and Determined Eagles team in Cowboys stadium.

Sorry but I'll take my chances 3 times against anyone at home over a road game in the cold any day of the week. I disagree with your thought process.
