Why in the heck would we spend a 4th on a player that won't even make the team?

Why do you twist things around more than Chubby Checker?

And please name who wants anything done "today.":banghead:

Take your time.

Uh...did you just call him "spanky"?

Don't let the interweb police catch you...'cuz they may deem that "namecalling".

Why, why . . . I oughtta . . . !

But seriously, who was it who wanted anything done today?

I would really want to know, slushy, my brother from another planet.

if someone can question the pick, fine. i have no problem with that. question away cause it IS a forum.

many questions get answers and "reactions" - why? it's a FORUM.

No, slushy, I endorse yer right to question the questioner. I do take exception to the activism you use to minimize others' opinions. Let them. Live and let live, slushy. It's a forum.
Just the other day you were contrite and now you are feisty agin like a drunk Benny Hill in the dressing room of Hooters.
(OK, I will work on my metaphors/comparisons, but you git the point, huh?)

Lately you have been wanting to twist things and put words in peoples' moufs and now your latest -- that someone is calling for action "today" -- is like you going back to your old ways.

Dont be a hatah of opinion. It's a forum. Your fanaticism re disproving, debunking or ridiculing others' opinion is more disturbing than Marv Albert making commercials for Hair Club for Men.

Let us all partake from the bowl of fiendship and let go of these intolerant ways. God bless you slushy, cause we all love ya, ya big luger.:)

That is a term of endearment, Regar.

I am sorry you jumped on that, because that is not meant to diminish the great iceman.

both are harmless. i never took slushy as a bad thing just someone cutting up - which should be allowed, so no biggie.

i went with spanky cause i can't spell alphalpha.

Yes, harmless, but with the alphalpha/alfalfa comment you are alluding to the pigmentation of my skin. And that is wrong and you know it, Slushy.

OK, I forgive you (again).

One thing people need to realize that never saw Stanback play. Had Stanback not been injured like he was, and teams would have been able to see him work out, he probally would have been thought of as a first round talent as well. Lets not forget, until Matt Jones had his ridiculious workout numbers, he was thought of as a 3rd or 4th round pick as a QB.

I've seen a few Husky games and strongly disagree with this statement. I was surprised we took him when we did given his history of injuries, his lack of a position, and our apparent depth at wide receiver.

Is it a "waste" to draft what is essentially a good athlete with possible potential at that spot? I think questioning the move is perfectly legitimate, although, personally, I'm willing to see how the situation develops before screaming "another Skyler Green!"

Man, this thread has gone crazy! I have not seen Iceberg get abused the way VD Cowboy and Gimmetheballs have abused him! But, Iceberg held his own, put up a good fight with the two dogs that have him cornered up a tree!

It's like saying the bears put up a good fight agin the Pats last Super Bowl.
Slushy got his head handed to him and he recanted and for all intents and purposes threw in the towel.
But I tell ya, Cinco, if only you could persuade slushy to revert to his meth-crazed avatar, the kids would not be so quick to attack him. With that silly hippy sig, well he is just axing for it.
BRING BACK THE METH GUY, Slushy, the crowd is getting more restless and angry than my nephews brandon/jacob/caleb/joshua/justin at a fancy restaurant.

sometimes you gotta let the kids win just to restore the peace.

saying "wasted" was a term of how someone felt about a pick they say we shouldn't have made is at least in the same family of thought. but yes, caught me on a technicality, so i fully admitted it.

that's what the "adults" do.

now if i were to tell you that you said you liked to party with septien in the latter years of his career -

1. where the hell did that come from
2. you never said it at all, i just made it up and said YOU said it
3. you'd get pretty bent someone is putting a whole 'nother idea in your mouth and then making fun of you for it.

the idea you never said.

yet, you see VA step up and go "oops, you're right, that was wrong of me".

no. why?

cause that's what the kids do.

like i said - he wins. yay. but if you think for an unholy second it's anything more than apathy that put the towel in the ring, you'd be wrong also. well, about 80% wrong cause i'm still here talking about it.

but please tell me you can at least see the difference between what i did and what he did. if not, then let's just stop talking now cause we'd not likely agree on even what color something is.
