i am what i am man. if that's "sensitive" so be it. i call it hard headed.

i find it funny i got "nailed" for putting words in someone's mouth when i said the pick was referred to as "wasted". yet - va can say i loved the carter pick, when carter wasn't even part of the conversation - it just suited his own selfish need - yet where's the uproar in that?

i can't misuse a word without you, gimme, telling me i'm wrong and need to fess up. so i do cause you were right in a strict sense.

yet he can tell me what i think and make fun of that and you don't go after him with the same...vigor ... that you went after me with.

it's ok. it's all good. this in the end is one of the more stupid arguments i've allowed myself to be a part of. but that's because i'm hard headed and yea, maybe too sensitive. i couldn't deny that if pressed either.

but if the argument - crime is that words were put into someone's mouth - why is it my use of the word "wasted" is so bad when just making up an entire stance of an argument that VA did to me and saying i felt that way - slides on by?

some people just have agendas based on previous experiences with people and while natural, not always...right.

in the end, spanky, you got me coming around to you again so maybe it's not a total loss. i disagree on some things (of course) but it's all good. football season has started, my friend got told "no cancer" today (thank god) and who knows... with a little more luck and a little less "hardheads" running around, this thread may one day go away. : )

Oh, hey, I only mentioned photoshop because your head looks like a big round watermelon to her very dainty head. It is probably my left eye not focusing too good after that head injury that I suppose no one here cares about . . . so I won't mention it . . . unless you really care to ax me.

Practice Update: The Great Outdoors

The temperature reading on the field here at Valley Ranch is 106 degrees. Welcome to the outdoor version of Cowboys training camp.
Thought I'd take a break from the brisk Saturday weather and give you guys a quick update. Rookie Isaiah Stanback is practicing for the first time in training camp, having missed all of the San Antonio sessions with shin splints. So is rookie free-agent running back Alonzo Coleman, who has been nagged by a sprained ankle.
The following guys are not participating: Rookie OT Doug Free (knee), WR Jamaica Rector (knee), WR Terry Glenn (knee scope), S Ken Hamlin (head), CB Quincy Butler (pulled muscle), DE Jason Hatcher (hamstring) and LB Greg Ellis (heel).
Free, who sprained his right MCL in the preseason opener, is watching practice on the field. We'll get a full update from head coach Wade Phillips this afternoon, but the injury isn't considered serious.
