But I thought everyone believed the Panthers, were a great team.BulletBob;1161145 said:Ring, I know I qualify for the group to which you refer. I don't believe that any of the fans are suggesting forfeit, or that we have no chance to win the game.
The original question on the table was "Why fear the Colts?"
That question struck me as odd, since the Colts currently have the best record in the NFL. They also have the best QB in the league, and have not lost a single game. The answers to the original question seem kinda obvious, no?
OK - so let's swing the equation over to our side.
While we have many statistics that would indicate that we should be superbly matched against the Colts, I would refrain from leaping to that conclusion based on the fact that not only have we not won 8 in a row, we have yet to win 2 in a row ... and we have not beaten any elite teams this season.
So, when addressing the initial question on the table, I'd say we have plenty to fear. Now, if we do manage to find a way to win (which is possible on any given Sunday), that should bolster our confidence heading into the next game a great deal.
But until we do beat a very good football team, and maybe string together two wins in a row, I'm not sure that I yet share your fearlessness staring down the gun barrel at the NFL's best team.
Look the point I'm making that no team should fear no team regardless of the record and if Indy, comes into Texas Stadium overconfident then their in trouble.
