what is it about people that hate players that give all they have all the time? A lot of the comments here are eerily similar to the hate thrown at Romo over the years.

I thought he had great progress over the last couple weeks. To the point where he took on an OLineman instead of making a tackle.. I kidd... He's a rook and they were keying on him when Lee was out. He'll learn.

The Giants taught me that as long as you make the tournament anything is possible.

Seeding is a factor, but you do not need to be a #1 seed or a divisional winner to win the chip.

robjay04--- sound reasoning!!!....man i hope with our young studs on "D"..and maybe Marinelli burning some midnight oil and pulling a Marinelli

rabbit out of the hat..we can come away from game with Chiefs on sunday not only with win but a signature defensive identity that rivals

our Offense?..OK some may accuse me of dreamin'....but we love our Cowboys and identities start somewhere..i think our defense is

better than the games we lost.....by all rights..we should be 6-1...Rams and Packers may come back to bite us for NFC east title...but

we are better than 4-3...and i think..no...I Know..our best football is ahead of us,,we will make playoffs and make serious noise,,and then

who knows???

what a assumption ? you think people actually hate our own team players - now I know your a troll

we don't hate anyone - just when the player is not ready to play an add something to the team

The guy simply can't play right now. Empty stats in garbage time and tackles eight yards downfield mean nothing.

So how is he suppose to get back up to game speed without having game experience? There's only so much game tape he can watch and practicing a he can do.

Snaps:
Jaylon 17
Hirchens 26

That doesn’t tell me anything. Situation? Was Lee and another player playing Nickle backer? Was Jaylon rushing the passer? Did most come in the drive before Washington’s drive?

The game is slowing down for him. With are LB Corp getting healthy he will be used at a frequency and role that suits his current development. We will be singing his praises by season’s end as he begins to trust his body more and let’s his instincts flow. I look forward to him blitzing more with olines keying on Tank and Irving.

I'm serious...I've seen him get beat by a RB more times than I can count. You can't think he's a good LB?

I think he is very good, physically limited linebacker. If he gets fully healthy (IF) he could be very good for us. I am not sure playing him helps him (or us) all that much, other than get some additional reps in on his damaged wheel. He could do that though without playing.

I think he's doing okay given his injury. He has made his full share of mistakes, but we really don't habe anyone else. We need to draft a few linebackers next year.
And I know I'm wrong, but it's kind of comical that he can't stop himself on some plays. It's like he's sliding on ice and can't stop himself.

Jaylon is better in coverage than against the run. So limiting his snaps is way to go. He only played in 17 snaps against the Commanders and I think that's about right. My biggest concern is we are coming up on week 10 mark that Stephen Jones felt if Jaylon nerve was going to completely heal it would happen around that mark. I see he still has issues with lateral movement and at this point we all just need to accept this is who he is. I still think he is capable of making isolated incredible plays (like sack two weeks ago and almost amazing int last week). The big question will be does Dallas keep him on roster long term if he is part time player who doesn't play on special teams.

I mean, he does have two sacks and 2-3 forced fumbles. He's made some plays.
And he is not gonna get better watching
Early was was forced to play due to injuries but he should still be getting reps just not starting

Jaylon is still injured and healing. It's ok to be a fan and think that he's hurting the team. Conversely, it's ok to be a fan and root for his full recovery and hope that he will eventually play at a pro bowl level.

I don't think anyone here hates Jaylon, most us just pointing out his deficient level of play.

Jaylon's only playing because he has to. He have to play the game to get back to his old form and improve from there. He may be a libaility now but years to come he will not be. How else will he be able to be the linebacker he once was during college days if he doesn't play the game speed?

I'm not knocking the guy because he's been through a lot but why is he on the field? At this point, he's a liability out there. He can't cut, and misses way too many tackles. Either that knee has cut his speed in half or the dude just can't play at this level. Is he playing because he was a stud in college? Is Garrett trying to get him used to the NFL while backs run around him? This isn't the time to be experimenting with LB's. I know he makes tackles, look at the position he's playing, but his tackles are after he's been juked and someone else is involved......Hitchens plays circles around Jaylon......If he were on any other team he wouldn't play at all.
Because the coaches know way more about football than people like you regurgitating this trendy bs narrative! He had a few rough games getting up to speed and dealing w lees assignments but so did the o line, theyre all now playing pretty good, getting better and starting to make big plays weekly, hes earning his playing time imo. This topic should be about Heath and youd have a point
