Why not Stallworth?

For some reason when I see him on the field he looks so thick and large that he looks like he is on steroids.

I am not saying he is.... but he looks un-natural for some reason.

I've always like Stallworth. He's got a lot of playmaker in him, though he makes too many mistakes to ever be considered a feature receiver.

I do think he's better than Patrick Crayton, though.

One word......injury prone
Perhaps if hyphenated you could pull it off as one but you've managed to turn it into two.:D

if stallworth wanted to play for a cheap contract he'd resign with the patriots...

just not worth the money for a guy that's injured. he won't be as motivated to play as he did for the patriots

Stallworth's a punk. And he was behind Jabar Gaffney by the end of the year anyway.

No thanks for anything more than an absolute dirt cheap deal.

I don't know if he is a punk Choco but he most definitely is an underachiever considering the talent he has. Stallworth is as tantalizing a receiver as there is in the league but mentally he is made for flag football.

i can't be bothered to read 4 pages of Stalworth so i don't know if this has been answered but has this guy ever gone a full NFL season without an injury?

Yes. According to NFL.com, he has played the full sixteen games in three of the last four seasons, missing four games in 2006.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I have been out a few weeks getting surgery and was hoping for some catch up conversation. With all of the Free Agent WR's out there on the horizon, I don't seem to see Stallworth getting any pubilicity. Seems that when healthy, he would be a pretty good compliment to TO. Could be the Hydrocodone talking though. Any opinions or updates on what I may have missed would be appreciated. :)
Yes, I would love to pick-up Stallworth w/ an incentive-based contract to be our #2 WR. Perfect compliment to T.O. Yes, it would be taking a chance since he's had injury issues, but I'd take it under this scenario. I'd also be in favor in a trade for Roy Williams or T-Fitzgerald, but those are unlikely becuz of the price their teams would want in return. Our best bet is to sign a FA vet like Stallworth and use our picks on other needs......
