Why officials decided not to pursue criminal charges against Ezekiel Elliott

The NFL should drop this immediately but they won't.
Right before kick off Sunday Goodell will announce something against us....I would not doubt it one bit.

You think they'd announce it before the game and he'd get suspended without an appeal or anything? I find that to be exceedingly unlikely, since they could take it to court and get an injunction and if there wasn't enough time they could likely end up suing the NFL for trying to screw him out of playing.

I just can't see it happening.

The NFL is about image more than anything. They'd get slapped down publicly for that kind of behavior and they know it. Goodell doesn't want any more judges ripping him publicly and making the league look inept. If they were to do what you are suggesting with the evidence that's out there right now they'd look like complete morons and the court of public opinion would crucify them, and they know it.

I didn't see this posted yet, or buried in one of the Zeke threads. It'll get you hot, if you haven't seen it yet.

"Authorities in Columbus, Ohio, have released new documents that explain why they decided not to file charges against Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott, despite a woman's claims that he assaulted her in July.

The Columbus city attorney's office investigated Tiffany Thompson's allegations for more than a month before saying Tuesday that it will not pursue charges against Elliott because of conflicting, inconsistent information and insufficient evidence.

After announcing its decision, the city attorney's office quickly released statements from Elliott, his accuser and other people who were interviewed during the investigation. The office also released photos, a 911 call and texts messages among Elliott, Thompson and one of Thompson's friends who said Thompson told her to lie to police.

"At no point during Ezekiel's walk to the Carriage House, or at no time during the night, did I witness Ezekiel come into physical contact with Tiffany or touch Tiffany," Ayrin Mason, the friend, said in a written statement to police.

Some of the text messages between Thompson and Mason...."

That is infuriating...I could hardly read Zeke's chicken scratch...

The scary thing is if the friend would've lied.. We've created a guilty till proven innocent culture.. I'm sure nothing will happen to this girl.

Yeah, that's what freaked me out. 25% of me was like 'wait, is she trying to get her friend lying on the record?' and the other 75% was like 'she's so matter of fact about trying to destroy a guy's life and willing to lie to the police to do it!' I'm a bit naive about that stuff, I guess, but I mean, did she not think that her text record could be subpoenaed at some point?

People are so stupid.

You misspelled evil.

The fact that she was so matter of fact about it makes me believe she's a sociopath. That chick is missing something vital in her brain.

I'm always suspect to the kind of women men attract. This girl seems vindictive. Wonder why ?

My father always told me if you want to know what kind of man he is look to the women he attracts.

Your missing the point. Why is he even around a psycho?

No, I got your point. Most of the time you don't know a psycho is a psycho.

You want to blame all the women who got into the car with Ted Bundy? He was a REAL psycho, and yet they clearly had no idea. Sociapaths don't generally have a scarlet letter S tattooed anywhere visible.

Stop blaming the victim. Victim shaming at its worst.

Just saying. But there had to be some red flags before that encounter . If your a celebrity you must be more careful. I'm not blaming him just questioning his judgement.

At 21 red flags mean nothing even anything red flags signify more fun. At 21 I was hardly looking for my future wife. When you look for fun sometimes you find crazy.

You have no idea if there were red flags. None. You are just questioning his judgement from a position of complete ignorance. All we know is that they had some kind of relationship and she's twisted. And when you question his judgement with absolutely no other information you are blaming him, you are just trying to do so passively.

If you end up hanging out with a criminal or Physco then you can become a criminal simply by association. That's poor judgement .
And he's already illustrated more poor judgement . It's not that much of a stretch. I'm blaming him for making poor choices.

I'm absolutely amazed that some of our fans can turn a 100% pure vindication like this into an indictment of the player.

Where do we find these people?
