I'm always suspect to the kind of women men attract. This girl seems vindictive. Wonder why ?

My father always told me if you want to know what kind of man he is look to the women he attracts.

I agree.

You have no idea if there were red flags. None. You are just questioning his judgement from a position of complete ignorance. All we know is that they had some kind of relationship and she's twisted. And when you question his judgement with absolutely no other information you are blaming him, you are just trying to do so passively.

Uh, yes, you can know. It's not very difficult. People tend to reveal themselves, somehow someway. It's really a matter of whether we're paying attention.

how stupid

No, it's not stupid. Men are so interested in getting some hot tail that they ignore all the signs.
And we have raised a generation of men who don't understand how women's sexuality is different then men's and how they view sex is different than how men do.
For the most part, when you have sex with a woman, she draws TO a man and believes she has invested in his life.
Men, for the most part (using a figure of apeech), want to "hit it" and leave. They don't want the investment. That's why even in marriage, women want to talk after sex, and men want to move on.
And consequences being what they are, some women go to the extreme to make you understand you aren't taking their precious gift and walking away without them getting something in return, especially if there is no firm commitment.

And so we have situations like this.

He chose to have this woman lie about his beating her up? How'd he choose that exactly?

Anyone can tell lies on you. If you choose to pick a woman with low character you open yourself up to bad consequences. He chose to befriend her
for whatever...Not everyone is a true friend...you know that, don't you.

No, it's not stupid.

Yes it is.

You are making a generalization about men using this situation that you know nothing about. Maybe Zeke really liked this girl and ended it when he realized what she was ....... and then she just got worse and worse.

We don't know how their relationship started, and the people trying to put blame one him are probably just trying to cover their arse for how they reacted to the initial news.

But it is a generalization based on CENTURIES of observation.
That's what the study of sociologyand all other fields that study human behavior is all about.

And here's the bottom line: He's in the situation he's in, and it still hounds him.

Secondly, to say we can't know flies in the face of every man and woman who evaluates another to find a potential mate. There are things you're looking for in a mate and things you aren't. It's a process we all go through, unless we're simply looking for hot tail.

Is this far our fans have fallen? Is this what happens when a franchise with the history, pride, and glory falls on decades of failure? Have we fallen to the point that we are now attempting to justify the slandering of a mans character because of the women he "attracts". We know nothing of the situation other than what's happened when it all went bad. Yet so many here have allowed there frustration, and anger at the franchise to move to the point where we are at this point just blantently finding reasons to be angry and hateful.

People week 1 is upon us, a new chance for our time to get back its glory. Our RB has been proven to be innocent and instead of celebrating and moving toward the season we are arguing about nonsense character issues. Maybe we as fans need to take a drep breath and ask ourselves just what in the blue blazes are we doing here

No one has slandered Zeke anymore than the NFL is slandering players when it tells them to watch out for the female entourage.

Look, some people want to walk through life blissfully ignorant of the dynamics of life and human behavior.

Does a woman who comes to a party nearly nude deserve to be raped? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
But is there a dynamic at work where a man, depending on his background and experiences, will act on the gird system of his mind and rape her? ABSOLUTELY YES!

It's not an either/or. It's both. Yet, because we value freedom and hate consequences, we want to ignore these natural dynamics and accuse those who point them out as "blaming the victim."

I believe this woman fabricated her story to get Zeke in trouble. I believe she saw dollar signs when dating Zeke. But I also understand that if Zeke slept with her, he connected with her in a way she feels entitled or connected to him. And her actions are an outgrowth of their relationship. That's not to say this will happen the same in every situation to this degree. But human observation tells us that when men and women hook up, the intimate nature of sex changes us in ways we can predict and ways we can't predict. This is the way it is as beings who desire relationships.

So why is this issue important in a broader sense? It is because it is a lesson to all men about how they conduct their relationship with women. And it's so important to young athletes that the NFL invests time in explaining during the rookie symposium how to avoid such situations.

We don't want Zeke's or any Cowboy's (and let's be honest; we're only talking about this because Zeke is a Cowboy) career to be derailed because of unwise decisions.

Hence our "concern."

I stay worried about this stuff until the league shuts the door, and even then the possibility of something else popping up lingers in the back of my mind. Until Zeke plays a couple of years without incident, I'll draw a quick breath every time BREAKING NEWS crawls along the bottom of a screen when I'm watching sports. I can't blame Zeke for some hot waitress turning out to be a nutcase, but the guy has not demonstrated very good judgement thus far in his young career. Compare him to our other star rookie. I know which one I trust to be there every Sunday.

Simple. It costs money. Much easier to prosecute a footbll player than it is a nobody.,
At some point a precedent has to bet set with people falsely accusing someone of a crime, if there hasn't been already. I can't think of any cases where someone was jailed for a false accusation.

My friend, a high school teacher, taught with a man who was falsely accused by a male student that they had sex in the classroom after school. He sued the student (and parents apparently). An accusation like that, even if false, will follow him around the rest of his teaching career.

How do you know if someone is a true friend or not before they do something like, I don't know, frame you for domestic abuse?

You make it sound like he married her or something.

Some of you are spending way too much time physcoanalyzing this situation. A young dude dated a crazy chick. Not exactly the first time that's happened, and I'm certainly in no position to judge.
