Some of you are spending way too much time physcoanalyzing this situation. A young dude dated a crazy chick. Not exactly the first time that's happened, and I'm certainly in no position to judge.
Absolutely. Gold diggers, crazy women surround star athletes all the time and I feel it is ridiculous to judge them for that.

He chose to have this woman lie about his beating her up? How'd he choose that exactly?
it is a ridiculous assertion and classic victim blaming. It will continue until those who make false allegations are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

At some point a precedent has to bet set with people falsely accusing someone of a crime, if there hasn't been already. I can't think of any cases where someone was jailed for a false accusation.

My friend, a high school teacher, taught with a man who was falsely accused by a male student that they had sex in the classroom after school. He sued the student (and parents apparently). An accusation like that, even if false, will follow him around the rest of his teaching career.
I couldnt agree more. I have no idea what took place with Elliott and that woman. Its none of my business what players do in their private lives. I am delighted he was not charged only because l want to watch him play. It seems that this woman was some sort of "gold digger" ? In the end, these people only hurt themselves.

They should prosecute her to make an example out of her to hopefully stop the next girl from pulling this BS. I say throw the book at her!

Imagine how many people are sitting in prison right now falsely accused of rape. It's way more than you think.

It is also very hard to defend against in a lot of cases. Its a type of fixed fight. These young wealthy athletes really need to look out for themselves. I am sure the clubs that draft them must offer some advise.

There used to be precedent until Feminists said those precedents intimidate "real" victims from coming forward.

Ask Greg Hardy about it....everyone believes Zeke but no one believes Hardy even though he had all charges dropped and record expunged

I'm sort of with you, though the two situations are very different. EE was straight set up. GH had a very volatile relationship with his girl and was definitely involved in an altercation. He was also largely unrepentant.

I do think his story is probably getting badly mischaracterized, though.

Hypothetically speaking, If I'm Tiffany what's-her-face and I knew that EE had a female cousin, sister, or someone of the like, I'd be watching my back.. Because where I'm from, there would be some street justice of some kind.

Zeke never paid anyone off either though.
Either did Hardy

It is the exact same situation.....Hardy broke up with her but she couldn't accept that as an outcome, she kept coming back at him and they even hooked up a coupe times....but if she couldn't get him back all the way then she was going to destroy herself and take him down with her....we have seen it a million times but no one wants to believe it because Hardy is weird
