I have a hard time finding even one thing to point to that make me believe this season isnt over.

We are never going to catch the teams in the east now and there is a good chance after next week we will be behind even the eagles.

Its just not there, break it down however you want, but it isnt there. This team just doesnt have it and it is a team that has been turned into a group of prima donnas who are told how good they are locally and nationally every time someone makes a tackle.

That Arizona game was huge and if their ever was a time to step up and play suffocating defense and make a stand for your season that was it. They didnt and now this team is in a bind that it has no answer for.

its 2004 all over again.

I think this is the best post of the day.

We also needed our defense to step up today with Brad Johnson playing and they laid an egg.

This team is done. A very good 10-6 team will not make the playoffs in the NFC this year and we will not come close to that record.

This team needs Kyle Kosier back ASAP.

If they could get Kosier back this week, that would really be a shot in the arm.

However, it will not matter if Romo doesn't play.

If I was Romo, I would get those offensive linemen, running backs, and TEs together and tell them that I'm playing this week. I would tell them that I would make plays for them by moving in the pocket, and I would get the ball out relatively quickly in this game and help them out. I would tell them that I need all of you to maul those guys and keep them off me. I would tell them that we are going to knock their you know what off the ball and run Marion Barber this week ect.. Romo is the leader.

If I was Phillips, I would tell Garrett to make the offensive line show him they can block four guys before you start winging it down the field. Plus, the gameplan should protect Romo, and that can be done by running the football and throwing some on first down.

If Romo can take the snaps, he will play, imo. He can dump the ball to the running backs, run up the middle, and beat the cover 2 with Witten.

Roy Wiliams needs the ball. For crying out loud, at least, hand it to him.

By the way, a lack of execution and numerous mistakes are the result of not being ready or prepared to play. This is not rocket science. If you're properly prepared, you don't turn the ball over, blow numerous assignments, get beat at the point of attack, etc. I dont' understand your argument. It's like you're blaming some kind of cosmic disturbance for our play. It's simple. We were out coached, out played, out executed, our hustled, etc. Anyway you want to slant it, we got beat badly by a terribly inferior team. There are no excuses, only facts.

All you have to do is look at the score to know we got beat badly. Anyone can say what you're saying. And I'm not arguing we played well. All I'm saying is that it's not all just because of dumb coaching or poor coaching or soft players. Some of it is coaching esp adjustments and the ability to utilize the weapons you have properly. I've not once tried to defend their mistakes. There's no escaping what happened on the field. But we suck, they are terrible so we are worse, yada yada is not going to help them correct their mistakes nor is it even correct. And the whole point of the thread is that teams can be very good and things not go right. And teams often turn things around particularly when they get their players back. If you wish to simplify all the problems with emotional and minimalistic reasoning go ahead. All we can do is agree to disagree.

You're so full of crap it's starting to stink in here. Of course there's a reason every play either works or fails. Boy, you really got me there. But it has nothing to do with how the stars are aligned. It has to do with coaching, play calling, execution, playing hard, playing smart, etc. Good teams do these things well. Bad teams....well, you know where I'm going. What I'm saying is we have far too much talent to put this product on the field. The old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" sure doesn't apply here. It's definitelly broke, at least for now. Sorry about the previous post. You're just aggravating the crap out of me the way you want to continue to go around and around in circles.

Well, getting frustrated and getting personally insulting is about what I'd expect from you. It's obvious you know little about football and less about how to communicate. Now you're blaming me for you being annoyed. It's your choice to act the way you are. I'm not exerting mind control thru my PC. Off with you...
