No, just as dumb as any other post you consciously hit "post reply" on.Would it be better if I said every team that Marino was on in the NFL were losers?

is it the brooklyn bridge? sorry, I already got the deed to that one. bought it a few days agoElite? Lmao. if you believe that I got a bridge for sale!
Mahomes was terrible in the Bengals game. I think you're thinking about the Bills game, where he was great.I think todays stats are all flawed and designed to glorify players.
To be elite, a QB has to be consistently good in various things. It isnt even about winning.
Sometimes a qb plays great but loses, like josh allen in the KC game.Or mahomes in the bengal game.
Being consistently good is the key I think. And you can watch them play and tell which ones are elite.
They all have bad games, but you can just tell watching them.
Both Romo and Dak have never had the benefit of good HC, and coaching staffs, and good defense.
Coaching makes a difference. If we had a really good OC and QB coach and HC, I imagine dak would look and play better
than he has so far. Whole offense would. So you have to consider the coaches when evaluating a qb.
Tannehill is a good example, was considered a bust at miami, went to tenn, and led team to playoffs both years.
They were considered a serious contender both times losing henry at end of season sort of screwed them this year.
But tannehill has looked way better with the new team and coaches.
I agree!
Plus that turnover that Anthony Brown got basically gave Dallas 7 points. So in reality Dak led the Cowboys to 10 points. Just another Dak game where he manages 10 points and people complain about the defense.
And he had the ball with 3 minutes and 3 timeouts and managed to make it to like the 48 yard line.
that’s everyone else’s fault.
I remember a thread before the season, something to the effect of "Let's stop with the Dak is not elite nonsense". Good times.
I kind of wish the guy who started it stopped by to see this one, but it's probably best for him that he not. I'd fear for his blood pressure.
There's evidence to the contrary.Dak makes those around him worse because of his inconsistencies.
There's evidence to the contrary.
Cooper got better the minute he upgraded from Carr to Dak.
Randall Cobb, whose career was withering in Green Bay, got much better with Dak. He routinely averaged only 10 yards per catch (and dipped down into the 9's as he became a stinking single-digit-per-catch receiver by the end) of his time in Green Bay and his yardage totals got crazy low. He came here and posted production he hadn't sniffed in 4 or 5 years. Set a new career-best record for yards per catch. Thanks to Dak. He cashed in after 1 season and immediately turned back into a pumpkin when he lost Dak.
Cole Beasley's best season with Dallas was easily his 5th year, as he improved the year we switched to Dak.
The only player who really "got worse" was Dez. And that's just because his wheels fell off and his game crumbled. Which would've happened no matter who the QB was. Maybe Romo forces more balls to him anyway despite not being able to actually work his way open anymore, but then, that's why Romo finished 60% of his seasons with more interceptions than games played.
I guess we'll see how Gallup and Cedrick Wilson fare in their new situations once they're freed from the crushing yoke of having to play with Dak.

Cooper has been as inconsistent as he was with the Raiders, yet Renfrow seems to be doing well with Carr.
I guess you’ll be pretty confused when players, coaches and execs all rank Dak in their top 10 QBs this offseason (again), won’t you?Dak never has been and never will be elite... He's an average QB being paid like he's elite, but that's where the "elite" ends with him.
I’m saying that all-time great QBs put up less gaudy stats in those days. Dak threw for more TDs in 2021 than guys like Favre, Manning, Brees, Brady, Big Ben, etc in 2005 or 2006. And according to many on here, Dak threw for more than those guys, so he must be better than them…
Basically, I’m trying to say that we need to keep proper perspective on what constitutes greatness and consider the significance of what the numbers objectively mean.

Well Lamb seems to be doing better with Dak than Renfrow is with carr...I'm not sure what this shows but if we are comparing young WR's i guess.

I think CeeDee is more talented than Renfrow so he should be doing better.
