Why the kosier signing is a good signing (not an exciting one)

Not all signings have to be exciting like the possibility of getting ayodele :D .

The reason why he is getting so much money, is because he is essentially going to have two roster spots... We're going into the season with 9 men on the offensive line, and probably like 7 active.

He also has the potential to start. And is still very young (only 4 seasons in the nfl).

Adams - Allen - Johnson - Rivera - Kroiser
Rogers/Colombo - Peterman - Johnson - Kroiser - Pettiti

That said I still anticipate us signing another tackle.

More like:
Adams - Allen - Gurode - Rivera - Kroiser
Rogers/Colombo - Peterman - Johnson - Kroiser - Pettiti

And Pettiti could keep his job with a good offseason and TC.

And their's still so much more to do.. I know we are sad to go after a no name weird looking guy, but were we ready to knock a ton of our FA bucks on a Bentley.

It looks like we are going to make a ton of mid level FA signings. Parcells is not fooling around this year, and guys that underachieved are going to be shown the door.

Kroiser played LT for the 49ers and was pretty bad but he is a solid guard...
Starters
LT Adams
LG Kroiser
C Mawea [?]
RG Rivera
RT Fabini [?]

1Round trade down and select M.J. Gilles and in the 2nd and 3rd....Charles Spencer, Rob Sims and Pat Watkins

more like

Adams - Allen/Peterman - Hartwig - Rivera - Krosier

Others will be back-ups
No OL rotation stuff that BP did last year, there needs to be continuity this year, that is the only way to build an elite OL my friends: CONTINUITY

Very good signing!

I just watched the Cowboys vs Lions game...Kosier did an outstanding job at left guard. He easily handled Ellis and Canty and only on a couple of pass plays did Glover get the better of him.

For a couple of plays at the end of the first half, Kosier had to move over to left tackle because of an injury to the tackle. He did a great job of blocking Ware on an obvious passing down.

This guy has a high motor and can pull as well as anyone I've seen. Very quick feet!

I don't see him at RT either.

I don't know where people are getting that.

I think that LA will be asked to restructure- and if he does not he is gone.

I would like to see his sign a young veteran tackle who can play BOTH sides.
