Why this game scares me.

My feeling is that Dallas comes in incredibly confident, but not arrogant and will beat the (*&$(#*@&$#)*0 off Seattle. Romo had his best game....Running backs should be back to close to 100%......and maybe most important I think we can get to the QB with the way the D has played.....Doesn't hurt they are banged up. 31-13

The Cowboys are in good shape, have some confidence and D is stepping up. I don't see the Seahawks even making a game of this, Boys will win by 3 touchdowns, unless Wade goes into prevent then maybe 1 TD! :(

Agreed. Go for the kill right out of the gate.

NEVER let Hasselback get into rhythm... never let him get confident. Send in the big dogs until they submit.

I think it will be a tough game, but Seattle is just not talented enough to sustain good fortunes throughout an entire 4 quarter stretch. They may catch us off guard and surprise us early, but I don't think they have the capability of doing anything that we cannot adjust to. I see us starting slow and gaining momentum as the game goes on.

It would certainly be a good wake up game if they kept it close though. The last thing we need are these players to be content and satisfied. They have to stay hungry in order to stand a chance this season.

Luckily, we have an awesome GM. Best in the world.

I worry about the game b/c SEA is capable of unloading on teams. That said, I'm not the slightest bit worried about losing to overconfidence. If we get beat, it'll be because games are hard to win in the NFL. This team, more than the '07 and '08 teams, I think, understands that thinking you've got gimmes on your schedule can get you beat.

I do predict that, win or lose, our fans will further embarrass the organization by overreacting one way or another.

I see what you are saying here theebs but I just can't get there.

Seattle is seriously wounded and look to have one of the very worst offenses in football. One of the biggest pre-requisites to beating Dallas is great OL play and they are awful there.

This Dallas team was getting kicked just a short while ago so while they may be gaining some swagger they are hardly taking things for granted.

Could this be a KC type game? Yea, of course it could but Dallas is actually healthy right now and goes in with a lot more offensive weaponry.

I really think this Dallas team is starting a nice run here. Wouldn't surprise me to see them run off 5 or 6 wins out of 7 or 8 games and then face that last gauntlet again trying to hang on for dear life.

Part of Dallas being so bad every year to close the season is they also have been excellent mid-season. While the winter is never kind to Dallas, this fall season with a home Thanksgiving game has been most bountiful.

Great post, Theebs.

Seattle has capable playmakers, and their defense has been fairly stout, surrendering only 18.2 points per game. They haven't a allowed a single point in either victory.

what playmakers?

their leading rusher is Julius Jones, the leading WR is Nate Burleson and the QB has Roy E Williams Ribs.

they did absolutely roll jacksonville and st. louis but they have been abysmal on the road with nothing but double digit losses.

if this game were in seattle that would give me pause but not in the death star and not with their injury list being so long.

Logic tells me this team has learned its lesson on that front.

But really, who the hell knows?

Close game at first.

They can't run the ball.

Hasselbeck has to keep trying to convert 3rd and 7+'s. They can't protect him. Would not be surprised if he doesn't finish this game.

That Seattle defense is being run over by the Cowboys big boys in the 4th because they are worn out due to their offense not getting much done.

We havent proven we're a good team yet, then. We almost lost to Carolina and KC.

Dallas isnt good enough to take anyone lightly.
Almost. Get outta here with this stuff. we WON PERIOD. I don't care who it was against. WE WON. Say what you want about this team but they don't lose to bad teams since Phillips has been coach and Romo as QB.

After the playoff embarrassment against Seattle in 2006, if Romo has any testicular fortitude, he will light them up. I do worry about this team coming out flat against struggling teams, but not THIS struggling team. Not with an entire offseason of embarrassment that Romo faced after that loss.

Baring a slew of Cowboys penalties and/or turnovers, that's pretty much how I see this panning out as well.

Matt Hasselbeck is a pro bowl quarterback when he's healthy. TJ Houshmandzadeh is a pro bowl-caliber receiver. And Julius Jones, though highly inconsistent, is capable of being a big play threat.

My only point is the Seahawks have weapons. They aren't the Quinn-led Browns.

I've got a feeling ...... :D

Cowboys have got to be relishing the thought of opening a big can of whup *** against the Seahawks. I would rather see them play w/swagger (not overconfidence), Romo and the offense are much more effective that way. And the D playiing w/emotion has been great the last few games. I will take it.

I think Romo exorcised that demon last Thanksgiving 34-9.

throw in carlson and burleson and they have enough to move the ball and score if givent the time.

But their offensive line is a joke. I've got a feeling .....

Carlson will be spending most of his time blocking due to all the holes on that offensive line.

I think Jenkins is gonna jump one of those quick passes and take it to the house
