Getting 1800 yds out of Murray was worth way more than the pittance he would have brought in any trade.

How would the Patriots have handled Murray better?

The Patriots would have signed Dez Bryant and then franchised and traded Murray.

The benefit of the pick we would have gotten for Murray would have more than over come the difference in additional pay we would end up giving Bryant, especially if the goal is to sign him anyways.

They have never done that so I don't know how you can assign that strategy to them.

Plus we will get a comp pick credit for losing Murray, so it isn't for nothing.

So posting a pic of somebody elses tickets that you could have clicked a pic of, or having in your possession some plastic cup is undeniable proof of your Cowboys fandom?:facepalm:

Dude, your stuff posted gets funnier and funnier. :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:
Yeah. Sure. I just happen to have Cowboys season tickets and memorabilia laying around my home and I bought it all for no other reason than to fool the people on the forum board.

I dunno bro, you consider one of these a piece of memorabilia?

When I think memorabilia I think of stuff like this:

Well, I had referred to it originally as stadium memorabilia in an effort to prove that I actually, you know, go to games.

I could show you my Cowboys football cards if you'd like, but I have a pretty big collection and could show you cards from all 32 teams so I don't see that that would prove anything.

My point, which clearly flew several feet above your head, is that the card collection doesn't prove anything... but, you know, the whole "being a Cowboys Season Ticket Holder" kinda does. Which gets us back to why I showed the uncut playoff ticket sheet and stadium cups.

If you think really really hard, it may make sense.

Ok man, you convinced me . . . . . . . . . . . . . the plastic cups were the clincher.

Nothing I could do would convince you. I have my (unsigned) PSL contract somewhere in my files but I won't bother posting it because you'll continue your trolling and your belligerent ways.

Since you feel, as usual, that you must have the last word, go ahead and have at it Sparky!

My brother n law who is a lifelong diehard Skins fan has PSL's for his 4 seats at Jerry World which he has just to resell the tix. Im sure I could get him to email pics but it wouldnt prove anything. It wouldnt prove he is a Skins fan nor would it prove he wasnt a Cowboys fan. And just because I might have some pics to post it wouldnt prove anything about my fandom either.

Pics of plastic cups, unused tix, psl's or whatever doesnt prove anything one way or the other. Your posts over time, your track record does tho. And the fact that so many here question whether or not you are actually a Cowboys fan does as well,

They don't let value get away without getting picks. They signed Gronkowski long term. The Cowboys plan on doing so, but they played too many games, and as a result we couldn't get value for Murray... MVP candidate player, let go without draft picks of any kind? Under the age of 30? That's ridiculous.

I think you are over thinking this one. They can't make Dez sign without severely overpaying. They were willing to let Murray go to begin with because they didn't want to overpay

If Dallas tags Murray for 11m he sign it immediately.

What team is going to trade anything of value if they have to also pay 11m?

Now Dallas is left with Murray at 11m and no Greg Hardy. Just for trying to be cute and squeezing a pick out of Murray when they could get one anyways as a comp pick.

They are going to have to pay Dez to keep him. The number in which they sign him for when they had a chance versus what they will eventually sign him for isn't worth the loss of the 1st round draft pick we could have got for Murray.

A lot of teams would have jumped at the opportunity to get Murray. The Eagles paid him 8 million per year. And most players would sign a contract with the new team rather than play under the franchise tag.

And no Greg Hardy? Not sure how you came up with that. The first year savings from signing Dez long term would have easily made up the difference there as well, but that is moot because you definitely could have traded Murray.
