Teams want to be like the Dallas Cowboys and not the other way around folks and they have for a loooong time.
The Dallas Cowboys are the NFL's best franchise because they are simply winners...PERIOD!

The Cowboys all time record of 476-352-6 (.575 %) is the highest winning percentage in the NFL.
The Cowboys have made the playoffs 31 times in their 55 seasons of existence.
The Cowboys have played in 60 playoff games and won 34 which is the most in NFL history.
The Cowboys have 22 division titles, 10 conference championships, 8 SB appearances and 5 SB titles.

Not to mention, one of the most recognizable sports teams in the world and worth a staggering 3.2 billion.
For those who aren't convinced you'll find out soon enough, because the sleeper has awakened again in Dallas!

Yes, I actually already posted proof that I was a Cowboys STHer. I posted the uncut sheets from last year's playoffs (which we got at the beginning of the season) as well as the past 3 years stadium cups you get with a large soda. The playoff tickets remain on uncut sheets since I keep them as souvenirs and just use electronic copies for gameday entry.

I think they're innocent of wrongdoing in the deflategate scandal. Apparently that makes them my favorite team.

So posting a pic of somebody elses tickets that you could have clicked a pic of, or having in your possession some plastic cup is undeniable proof of your Cowboys fandom?

I've never changed. I followed the Cowboys because I admired Landry's preparation, culling out older and overpaid players, innovation, drafting the best players in a given year over need or dazzle. Maybe, maybe Jerry is allowing Stephen to return to that proven formula for success. I hope Stephen continues to succeed - he is addressing the root cause of my frustration that had me throwing my arms up at the start of the 2014 season.

If anyone has noticed, up to this point in this post I have only talked about the Cowboys and the system that made them Americas Team. A few might remember Tex Schramm bragging about that system and taking delight if other teams imitated it. It took awhile before another team did, and some here instead of being flattered, hate that team. And because the Cowboys have not used that formula (until maybe the past couple of seasons), and the Patriots have - they only play each other every four years! I understand hating a divisional rival or a playoff opponent that's frequently in the way.

Regardless of who I've been a fan of, I admire teams and players that stand out. I don't understand fans with crazy hate in general, esp at teams they hardly play...there should be more strokes from this nonsense.

If Stephen continues to do what he does, a few of you will not be able to stand the Cowboys. Good - the Cowboys deserve better fans. But remember this:
