The purpose of the thread is to instigate, denigrate, offoscufate and to hyperinflate. Did I tell you to be belicose? Did I tell you to be hyper-feely? Did I tell to darken the portal of Cowboy fans?
I feel like litigating like the Chiffons against that sallow Beatle George Harbison!
There is no purpose for this thread Rwalters you are being a pain in the rump, the pomp and the bomba-bom.
Rwalters you half earned mein vigilante eye (the good one) and needless to say you are on mein list. If you a troll you will be excised from here by morning with the speed of Vin Diesel asepting ANY acting award he will never git.
Speaking of git, git from this forum. I am retching from the thread!

Hey, that's just win the Super Bowl this year, yeah I'm talking the Cowboy's 6th Super Bowl Championship and just be Cowboys !

There we are. Anyone who respects the Patriots and what they've done and wants to be like them is really a Patriots fan.

I'd post my Cowboys season ticket invoice which I just got (electronically) but you're not worth the effort.

God forbid someone doesn't bow down to the almighty NE Patriots on a Dallas board.

That one lucky Super Bowl in ten years is just so dominating that it must be the goal for every Cowboy fan.

I've seen your bumper sticker- "I'm Nuts for the Patriots"

It's not dishonest at all

They have 1 Super Bowl title in the last 10 years

The NYG and the Steelers have 2

SEA has been to 3 winning one

NE is a very good team, but they should not have won the SB last year. They got a huge break against SEA and should've never got past BAL except for a few shady plays. They won so you can't take it from them, but they aren't the same team from the early aughts.

...and you think Eli is a better QB beating them in two SBs? Close games BTW

Is there anyone in here that would be upset if the Cowboys won a "lucky" Super Bowl this season?

Nope, didn't think so. I know I sure would be ecstatic if that happened.

I knew the biggest NE fan would show up.

They got lucky and everyone knows it. At least 90 times out of 100 SEA wins that game having 2nd and goal from the one.

The Pats won, but that doesn't mean they were the best team all year. They got demolished by KC early and a lot of experts were writing them off.

You get to keep the trophy, but that was not a "Dynasty" team.

the other 31 teams also had a bad week so they did not deserve a SB, per Harriot's logic ahem

People who can't admit that luck exists in sports are just being thick

Who said luck doesn't exist? But, as Jimmy Johnson said, luck is the intersection of opportunity and preparation.

Hope you feel better insulting the Cowboys to try and prove how dominant your Patriots are

I'm not insulting the Cowboys. The Patriots have been the better franchise over the past 10 years. Acknowledging that is not insulting the Cowboys.

Second, calling me a Pats fan is simply childish.

I don't think the guys who parrot this insult really understand how childish and immature it sounds.

No matter what, the Pats were lucky to win the Super Bowl. Everyone, including Brady thought the game was over. That is a fact.

If you can't admit that then you are a blind homer or just picking a fight.

The reason you want to be like New England isn't because of any specific thing that they do. Don't mimic their system, that makes you a pale copy. What they do that's very good is that they believe in their system. We are in the process of establishing what our system is, and assuming its not fundamentally flawed, once you get it established be like the Pats and stick to our system.

In a year or so, maybe a few...the Patriots are going to wish they would have done what the Cowboys are doing now.

lets jus hope we half a qB with at least as manys playoff wins that Brady half Super Bowl wins.Cause right now the ratio be 2:1 Brady. Just a fact, jack.

That's what you'd like to believe. But Butler jumped that route on the bases of what Browner told him. That wasn't luck. That was strategy.
Now, they may have been lucky that the Seahawks called the play, but being prepared for that play was not a matter of luck.

If you can't admit that then you are a blind homer or just picking a fight.

Fans who point to luck are just seeking sour grapes. Luck, no luck, skill, preparation whatever. If you win, you win.
And if the Pats win based on luck, then the other 31 teams better start searching for rabbit's feet too. ;)

That's just silly. Luck is real and the Pats got real lucky.

SEA executed a stupid play call very poorly.

If you guys admit that, they won't take the Lombardi Trophy away.

That's exactly what it is. Sour grapes from sore losers.

The days of 1 team dominating all the rest are over. Every single championship team of the past decade is 1 lucky play away from not having won it. I'm serious. If I could make one minor change to one single "lucky" play per season, I could change the champions of all 10 Super Bowls in the past 10 years. (Please note that in a couple cases, that "1 single play" I would change would have to be from one of the playoff games and not the Super Bowl itself).

So you admit the Pats got lucky, that wasn't too hard.

DAL got lucky against DET with the picked up flag
GB got lucky against DAL with the Dez call
SEA got lucky against GB with the 2 pt conversion
NE got lucky against SEA with the play call

Solve for x = Lions are the Champs
