Ehh Wilcox is being a little overrated already. He's for sure a great athlete and has made a few nice plays, but he hasn't exactly been in position at all times. Coverage wise I'm not that worried if Heath has to play.

I agree, I will say this for the DL some of these street guys like Selvie could find themselfs as a starter should he continue to play as is and others on the DL have shown they could provide solid depth but yes I would love to add to the DL

CB Dallas only went with 4 and Webb hard to say how he will develop but yes an area that could be addressed and of course 4 at safety I like what I have seen out of Church and Wilcox, Heath now has a chance to show himself and of course McCray kept more for special teams

To me it just seems rather obvious where help is still needed, one injury in the secondary and we are starting guys who have barely seen the field before. You can't say that at any offensive position on this team, except maybe TE but those guys have played and have pedigree.

The OL, as bad as people want to dog them out, they still have started in this league and have experience. At safety?? We are going with hopes and dreams....its pathetic really. Same goes for Webb really, although he does have a bit more pedigree being a draft pick he still doesn't have the experience that we have on the offensive side of the ball with our depth.

And people wonder why we have sucked for decades, you have to stop the pass in this league, and we have been lacking talent on the backend for too long even with great players everywhere else. I give the FO credit, they have tried to address the problem, and I hope they continue to do so. Saying every team doesn't have depth is a cop out, point blank we have none on the backend at all depthwise and the depth is worse there than anywhere on the team.

Pretty sure this is a sarcastic post but it's the truth.

I'm not throwing the towel in but I'm not going to pretend we're just dandy with Heath back there either. Maybe he'll do fine but we have little data to make any assumptions.

Seems like a good idea to me to send Vega back to the practice squad and bring up Jakar Hamilton or Pellerin. I'd be making that move pretty quickly.

I'm not going to worry yet until we know for sure what happened and if it's serious or not. Hopefully he just tweaked it and will be ok.

Tough break, he was really making improvement. I like the Heath kid, though; he may do well in this scheme if he can play with patience.

Yeah I agree. Although, even if it is minor, I wouldn't be surprised to see him sit out the game at Detroit for precautionary measures. Still, it's not worth crying over until we hear the official diagnosis. Let's hope it's not serious...

How can anyone say we don't have depth on offensive line when we've lost Ratliff, Spencer, Crawford, Bass and now Ware and its still probably one of the strongest parts of our team?
 *cough* that's defensive line, not offensive line *cough*

Hopefully it's not a sprained mcl, that'd be a considerable blow.

Let the next man come up and help. Now, it's his job. And, I bet he does...whoever it is.

Losing one man on the defense does not mean the team is going to be worse. It might create an opportunity for a young hungry guy to step up?
