Stroud was the 2nd overall taken pick, plus he has a much better team both on offense & defense, plus has much better coaches. Still, if you compare stats (first 2 years), they have very similar stats.

What? Actual media figures defend Lamar like he's their kid. Im not saying Allen doesn't get thst treatment, but yall acting like Lamar is getting bashed more is crazy

If you are on a 4 man show and 1 defends and 3 attacks that is not a passionate defense. If you flip that then that is the Allen narrative. I could run through every show on ESPN and FS1 and the NFL pregame shows an demonstrate this but I will simply ask one question: lets assume they are getting treated equally, what is this basis for them being equal players? They have the same postseason success and Lamar has outclassed him in the regular season. Allen's turnovers are just ignored when they are the reason they have the same playoff success.

Actually the Chargers have been like us of the AFC going back to Phillip Rivers. They've had loaded teams and just never gotten over the hump.

Allen performs better than Jackson in the playoffs, that's a fact. He needs to get over that hump too, but as of now Id take Allen over Jackson in the playoffs

Based on what? They have the same playoff success. Last year was the first time Lamar had an actual receiver on the same level as Diggs and suddenly he made it just as far as Allen's best ever showing.

I dont give you credit for being worse in the regular season so you get to play a bad 7 seed and get a free win before getting bounced in the divisional round against a real team (its why they have the same number of conference championship games). By your logic it would be better for Lamar to be worse in the regular season so that instead of being the 1 seed they are the 2 seed and get a free win against a bad team to pad the win count.

Dude what? Lamar has lost to the Titans, Chargers, and Bills. His wins came against the Titans and Texans lol. He's faced some weak playoff teams
