The only way this is happening is if the coaching staff said fine you guys go do it then since they have failed up to that point anyways.

I mean I do remember Romo going for it on 4th down when Wade wanted to punt the ball one time and i'm sure players have said they will run something different then what the coach wanted at points in the game before too but to just scrap the whole gameplan?

This is over reaction.

This is just doing sideline adjustments.

Coaches also have meetings with their position players what they are seeing in real time.

This is not unusual.

that was not what it was about, it was about the coin toss. he told Dak to go defense first when it was suppose to offense. it's what started the confusion.

I suggested they do that very thing in the pre game thread I suggested both offense and defense do it

The fact that my post offended you should bother you. I don't give a damn what anyone wants. I want my football team to win football games. Don't care who is coaching, cheer leading, running, jumping, selling pop corn, signing pay checks or singing at half time on thanksgiving. That might offend you also...sorry.

I don't think they ignored the coaches and called their own defense, right up until the final two drives. I imagine if they were to ever try "going rogue", there'd be a timeout called before the ball was snapped. Besides, who's gonna tell them what formation to get into on each play? Nah, I call BS.

You don't agree with me about rooting for the Cowboys to win despite who is coaching yet here I am, feeling fantastic. I'm pretty sure by my posting history it's obvious I don't care what one single person here thinks. People get offended way to easy when you root for the Cowboys on this board and I will call you on it EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sorry.

I don't come here to dance around excited like a bunch of 7th grade girls that we are losing so we can fire the mean red head who we don't like. I've noticed standing up for that little red head gets a lot of people fired up and I won't lie, it's entertaining to me to watch them squirm. If you didn't know..I'm currently entertained;)

This, plus, a blitzing OLB in a 3-4 defense has a different role than a LB or DE in a 4-3 defense. Freestyling to find a path to the QB is part of the role of a player like LT or Von Miller
