I think in order for a team to stink on the road I think they would have a losing record on the road. Dont you ?? the Chiefs are 3-3 on the road. The boys are 2-3 on the road right now I believe and that would quality for a stinky road team.

OMG...one game? Spin it however you will, but your team isn't as good as you think they are. The members of this board know just how good (or mediocre) the Cowboys are.

I will guarantee you that this game will not be as easy as you think. How much faith do you have in Trent Green? Larry Johnson will be the focus of the defense.

All i know is, if a team like Buffalo can't stop your offence and you guys couldn't stop a Qb like J.P lostman. Then, i wouldn't be this confident in my own team. I would respect the Cowboys a little more.

Where in my statement did I try and spin anything. I just stated a simple fact. I know this game will not be easy and I have a lot of respect for the Cowboys ( mainly because I have Keyshawn and Julius on FF ) and I know they have a wicked defense lead by the monster Roy Williams. I am not stuck up about my team in any shape or form but I am confident in them due to the way they have been playing especially since we got healthy. I have plenty of faith in Green as long as the Oline protects him but that goes for any QB as far as protection goes. And the only way to know how good either of our teams are will be in the postseason if they get there so dont say my team isnt as good as I think they are.

First off on that game we were missing some Olineman mainly Roaf and 2nd we shut down Losman besides 2 passing plays that were perfect passes. We shut down their running game but I wouldnt look at that game as an indicator of how good the Chiefs are anymore than I would look at the game against San Fran to determine how good the boys are. I think it is you who are underestimating the Chiefs. I mean look at Indy only putting up 13 against Cleveland at the RCA dome -- Teams have bad games and that was easily our worst game.

Well, from the tone of the Chiefs fans' posts in this thread, you'd think that they've already got reservations for Detroit.

Here's an observation: The Chiefs stink on the road. How's that?

Our .500 winning percentage doesn't bear that out. In fact, we have the same road record as you. The difference is we have a better home record.

Trent Green's started every game for a team that has had one of the most productive offenses in NFL history over a 5 year period. I've got a little faith in him.
The best thing Bledsoe's done for his team in the last 5 years is get injured...enter Tom Brady. People are bagging on Losman in this thread. Bledsoe was dumped from Buffalo for Losman. He's had a QB rating over 77 once in the last 6 full seasons. Green has had a rating of at least 82 in 6 of his 7 years as a starter.
When was the last time Bledsoe played for a good offensive team again?

FWIW-Bledsoe had his very best years when he played with Parcells in NE.

In 96(the year they went to the Super Bowl)-Parcells hired Chris Palmer to help clean up his faulty mechanics. Apparently, it made a big difference.

as far as football is concerned, 1996 might as well be an entirely different decade than 2005...I mean century...I mean millennium...You know what I mean.

I can see where the J.P. Losman wise crack comes from because he and his Bills beat the Chiefs.

But you don't have to rationalize how Losman is better than Bledsoe to convince yourself KC has a chance this week, because it wasn't really Losman that beat the Chiefs, it was that potent KC offense that lost the game by scoring 3 points.

Some of these Chiefs fans are questioning the young, Dallas defense, but I can assure you after looking at your schedule, this will be the best D that your team has faced this season.

I just think it's telling that the Bills were willing to let Bledsoe go when they only had Losman waiting in the wings. We looked like garbage on offense against Buffalo. I'll be the first to admit it. (Losman did make 2 incredible TD throws that day. They were perfection.) I don't think Losman's better, but I don't think Bledsoe's got much left in the tank either.
Dallas has a good D. There's no denying that. I tend to think that our offense, which is finally healthy and hitting on all cylinders, is better than your defense. I base this on our offensive line's dominance. If your d-line can get pressure on Green and take away Dante Hall's KR opportunities, you will win the game. If not, we will win. Green is a surgeon when he has space to step up and throw. Larry Johnson is a monster, and Dante Hall is Dante Hall.
Our successes and failures on offense have been due to the level of offensive line play. Green doesn't have a strong arm by any means. He really has to step up and throw with his entire body. I kind of think it's a bad habit he developed due to his incredible protection over the last 4 years. We have had a patchwork line all year that got healthy 2 weeks ago. Now they're dominating. If your defense can get past the 4 Probowlers (2004) who block for Green (Shields G, Roaf T, Watters G, Richardson FB) then more power to you.
