Will Henson see any time this week?

So BP knows so much about QBs?

So much that he went with a 42 year old he knew he was not going to bring back and played him the last at least 3 throw away games instead of letting Henson and Romo play a little and get valuable playing time. What other position has he done that same policy with and worked?

Now you are about to decide on a multi-year multi-million dollar contract offer to Romo for starter or back-up pay and possibly lose him in free agency ALL BASED ON PRESEASON. Great coaching there.

Don't even bring up his failed attempt to keep on life support a QBs career that could not even make it on a Canadian team as a backup.

It took a sledge hammer to wake him up on Phil Simms, too.

Even though I agree with you about the QB's and playing time. Parcells will always play not to lose reguardless of his record.

You know, it is very odd that Parcells didn't play Henson in the pre-season game and practice.

I know everybody is going to pile on here but you guys don't think there might be some interest in Henson from another team do ya?

I think he'll play. Despite what the Romosexuals or even those who don't think he's been given a fair shake think about BP's views on Henson, i.e. he doesn't like him, I think BP really thinks he has a future.

I may be the minority, but I think our future looks good at the QB position.

Well, I do think it's odd that Henson is not getting any practice. I can see not playing because you have to earn that but you should not have to earn practice time in TC. I mean, you bring in an extra guy just to have enough arms to run practice. Seems odd not to use a guy in practice if for no other reason then to simply run the practice efficiantly.

It just strikes me as odd. One of the reasons you might hold a guy out of practice is because you might be trying to work a trade. I'm not saying this is whats going to happen but then again, just because we don't think a guy is ready or any good doesn't mean another coaching staff didn't break the guy down in Europe and think he might be better then what they have on there roster right now. We, of all people should be able to understand this line of thinking. We signed every scrubb that came along for a while there.

I didn't realize, it was just a single 7 on 7 drill. I was under the impression that he didn't play the whole practice. Much different.

Probably nothing. Could be anything. Not all the concerned about it in light of your info.

I think he was held out the whole morning 7-7 drills...at least that is what I thought I read...I don't know about the afternoon practice (if they held two-a-days today)...

I have to agree with SultanOfSix and 5Stars on this. Good starter and what appears to be a quality backup in Romo. Why rush Henson now?

Why the concern, he is just being developed, and is not ready yet. Why must it be that he has to be better than Romo right at this moment? Maybe next year he will surpass Romo, but for now, be happy we have Romo and he is progressing.
