Will Parsons have better career than DWare?

Who did he inspire in Dallas?

Maybe, just maybe, that has to do with the owner creating a circus around that time and hiring a coach that literally had the nickname for his training camps as "camp cupcake". It was a terrible environment for any player to be in.

And I'll say this;

Ware lined up against the LT every down. He went up against hof LTs at that and bested them.

Parson thus far has been very dominant, but, he's a chess piece for Quinn. Would he have the same success if he was used like ware?

It's sad broncos see wares greatness more than fans on these forums.

It's how this fanbase has always been. Many act as if these players were their lovers who moved onto someone else and they keep that garbage opinion a decade or more after a player leaves the team.

lol please sir remind me when/where D-Ware made a big play in a clutch moment for the Cowboys (not the Broncos)

The most dramatic example was the game ending sack fumble on Brees at the end of the Saints game in 2009. We all remember that one because he had been carted off the field with a neck injury the week before and nobody thought he'd play.. There were others.. but I could list 20 such instances and it wouldn't change anybody's mind one way or the other.

DWare greatest pass rusher since stats became a thing for Cowboys. Does Micah surpass him?
Thare are a lot of factors that go into answering that.

I think Parson's is a greater overall talent - faster and much more versatile, and probably has a little bit more of a nasty, edgy streak in his personality.

But can he stay healthy long enough? Can he maintain consistency (or get better)? He's not as strong as Ware, so will he eventually wear down from going against much larger O-Linemen? Those are the kinds of questions that will take time to answer.

How was Ware not a generational pass rusher? He has exactly 10 less sacks than LT did in his career, and Ware played one less season than LT.
Please don’t compare him to LT. Nobody had an impact on a game like LT. Ware was great. But he is not a comparison to LT

Ware got a lot of unfair off-sides calls because his burst was so fast. That being said, I think Parsons is better overall than Ware was at the same points.
That’s a great point. The one I remember the most was in the 07 Divisional game against the Giants. Didn’t he get called for an offsides on a huge 3rd down stop and when reviewed It was DWare was not offisides , it was his super fast get off. Gave Giants new set of downs and they scored on a long pass play?

The Cowboys barely made the playoffs in his prime.

And the discussion here is about Parson's being better - Parsons has played in 1 playoff game. How the HELL Parsons being complimented and "better than Donald" and Ware criticized for similar reasons? I don't remember Parsons destroying the 49ers. Try making logic of this, chief.

Another terrible KJJ post.

You don’t like me I get it! I’ve owned you so many times on here you’re still bitter. Lol DWare made the playoffs in 06, 07 and 09 and you call that barely making the playoffs in his prime? Lol The OP stated DWare was the greatest pass rusher since stats became a thing for the Cowboys. He asked does Parsons surpass him? The only way he’s going to surpass him as a “pass rusher” is to end up with more career sacks. Pass rushers are judged by their sack totals Einstein! Our regular season record is 16-6 since Parsons arrived and 5 of those wins have been with a backup QB. The Cowboys were 18-14 during Ware’s first two seasons and the Cowboys never had a defense close to what they have now with Parsons. We never won games with our defense with DWare. Parsons and our defense is carrying us.

We never had a good defense with with DWare. With Parsons we have the best defense I’ve seen from the Cowboys since they were winning Super Bowls in the 90s and Parsons has been the main reason. People who know football are comparing this defense to the Cowboys doomsday defenses. The Cowboys have never had a player offensively or defensively that’s not only being called by some as the best defensive player in the league but possibly the best player in the entire NFL. I make you look like a fool so often you’re boring me! I’m tired of wasting my time with uneducated football fans like you. Go find another hobby because football isn’t for you.

I love the way we aren't allowed to credit both. Like I said, Parsons is already more of a game wrecker. That doesn't mean he will surpass Dware, only that he has the potential to do so.

Nice post.

Parsons upside is higher than the level achieved by Ware.

Ware is a Hall of Famer. But if he stays healthy Parsons will end up being the better player

Yeah, Ware breaking the MVP of the league in 2015 wasn't a feat or anything. Just a bum team. Or him terrorizing Brady in the playoffs.

Just feasting on playoff teams.

dware was a nice guy. Rarely making big plays on key 3rd downs. Parsons is a violent leader coming up clutch in key moments. Sunday night was a perfect example sealing the win with a sack/fumble.

Micah is so much better than Ware it's silly.

Ware isn't even top 10 in Cowboys defensive history.

You're right, I don't like you. Let's break down what you said

"At no point was DWare ever considered the best defensive player in the entire league."

Ware made the all-decade team. Led the league in sacks twice - I then asked you, who was better? There was one defensive player in his prime that was on his level and that was Jared Allen. You know, another player that will most likely be in the HOF. Let's go ahead and move on

"Some who get paid to talk football seem to think Parsons has surpassed Aaron Donald for that honor."

1. Who are these people who are saying this - list the names and we'll see their history and what their credibility is.

2. Parsons hasn't done jack crap in the playoffs (Not all his fault, he's only been there once, simple fact is, he didn't show up against the 49ers)

You then responded to me with this

"Another reason was because he didn’t make many game changing plays. He really didn’t show up in the playoffs during the prime of his career with the Cowboys."

So break it down more for me: How is Parsons on Donald's level when he has had no success in the playoffs, while Ware is criticized for not having big games in the playoffs while here in Dallas. You have to be consistent.

Lastly, I want every single person in this thread going at Ware to provide statistics and compare them to his peers when it comes to 4th quarter sacks and crucial moments. Because this is a fact, Ware was on a tear in 2015 playoffs and Super Bowl. It doesn't matter if he was with the Broncos when he did it, the thread title is "career" - that was part of Ware's career. Parson's hasn't done this yet - so he had success in the playoffs, you can't ignore this.

And I'll go ahead and leave you with the video so your memory is jogged - no close your account so I no longer have to see your posts or your crappy car photo.

I had that figured out a long time ago. Lol I’m done wasting my time with you.

Yeah, well I'm going to ask you the questions again so everyone sees you ignoring them.

1. What player in Ware's prime was better than him?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_2000s_All-Decade_Team

You have Allen (who didn't even make the all-decade team, Ware was chosen over him) and Polamalu

2. How can Parson's be on Donald's level when Parson has had no success in the playoffs, while at the same time, tearing down Ware for lack of playoff success?

Since you can't answer the questions, take your ball and get in your crappy car and go home.
