It will come down to health, if Parsons can stay healthy and have as long a career as Ware did, then its possible.

I will say this, Ware a lot of the times had very little talent around him so it appeared that he would disappear in big moments of the game but a lot of the time that was because he was getting double or tripled teamed and nobody else could make a play.

That is why Ware appeared to have more of an impact in Denver because he had Von Miller to play with.

Parsons is the best defensive player I’ve ever seen in only 2 seasons so yeah he’s better than Ware.

Parsons changes the entire way a offense operates and QB thinks.

Thank goodness they accidentally found out he’s a great edge rusher and we didn’t waste his career at middle linebacker.

Pretty easy answer - if stays healthy, yes. Without even looking, I’m sure over 50% of the responses said as much.

I will say Ware’s best pass rusher on the other side was Anthony Spencer or Greg Ellis. Good pass rushers but not all pros. Micah this year has DLaw who has been an all pro when healthy, which he finally is this year.

I think a big part is coaching. Ware was good with Parcells and great with Wade. But Wades defense was about overwhelming you with blitzes. DQ uses Micah as a matchup nightmare coming from everywhere. If Ware had DQ who knows what the numbers could have been

It's certainly possible. Parsons has elite athletics to go along with football talent.
But I feel it's the shiny toy syndrome in here for some.

Ware was the 2nd fastest player to record 100 sacks in the NFL.

He was a playmaker for this team, hell, even watching a 3 minute highlight clip shows what he did in his time in the NFL

Parsons is athletically more gifted than Ware. Hopefully, like Ware he can avoid serious injuries down the road and still be a force in years 4-8.

Remember the defense was good for a bit with Wade and quickly fell apart. Hopefully, with Parsons it doesn't become barren with talent and the FO expects him to do everything.

No disrespect to DWare but if Micah continues doing what he's doing, there's a strong possibility that yes, he can have a better career than DWare. The only person who can stop Micah is Micah.

DWare greatest pass rusher since stats became a thing for Cowboys. Does Micah surpass him?
I think you have to define better first. Will he get a ring that depends on the team. Strictly numbers. Absolutely he has a better supporting cast

I don’t think he’s better already. He doesn’t have the elite burst off the ball Ware did at his absolute peak.

Ware got a lot of unfair off-sides calls because his burst was so fast. That being said, I think Parsons is better overall than Ware was at the same points.

ok

what im going to say will upset fans.....but as Great as Ware was and hes a first ballot HOF who was snubbed of a few DPOY awards

D Ware didnt come through in clutch times to make the game winning sacks.....he made alot of sacks on first and second but on critical 3rd downs it seemed like he never made that big play

I wont put parsons above him but Parsons does seem to make the clutch sacks or tackles or had a hand in those situations

100% Agreed. I was telling my buddy after that game sealing Micah Sack fumble in the 4th that D-Ware never did anything like that. He racked up the sacks and was a freak of nature rushing the passer, but in terms of impactful sacks/plays, he was largely invisible when it mattered most. Micah, in a short period of time, has already shown that he is not the same.

Your 2nd paragraph is like the dumbest take ever. Do you even know what a double/triple team is?

With the Broncos he made a ton of timely plays for them. Ware's career is underrated.
Ware is a top 10 all time pass rusher. What he did w/ the limited talent around him was nothing short of amazing. Bashing Ware is incredibly weak.

Ironic thing is, but I remember he did make some plays with Denver in that SB playoff run, though Von Miller was superhuman that playoff run and completely dominated.

Dan Quinn is running a defense he never ran until he came here. If is probably more accurate to say it is DQ sucking in Atlanta blowing 4th quarter leads regularly, thinking he had the LOB in Seattle, as well as Micah that forced DQ to change his defensive philosophy.

Yup. He made plays in crunch time when he wasn't the only threat. Funny how that works.

I suppose the ultra silly Ware bashers don't remember who made plays in crunch time in our super bowl years. Jimmie Jones, Tolbert, guys like that. Why? Because the other team was busy doubling and tripling Haley.

Honestly, did some of you start watching football yesterday? It's just such a bad take. BSPN started this crapp idea, I can't believe how many of you fell for it.

Go back to 2008-09 when he was in the backfield in 0.2 seconds. Parsons is amazing. And may very well surpass Ware. But let’s not act like he’s a HOF in 1.25 seasons.

Being more dominant in a brief period doesn't check the boxes for anything else. My point is he is more to account for than Ware ever was. Perhaps you're right though, but I remember Ware having quite a few games where his impact was minimal.
