We don't know that and if we were smart, we would take another year to find out rather than do what fan boys want which is promote him to the active roster and watch him embarrass himself.
Maybe so.

Teams don't give QBs years to develop let alone TEs....... it doesn't take 2 seasons to make a decision

We just keep grooming TEs while running Witten out there every year

That’s up to him.

I still don’t think it’s that serious. The team has to give the impression it’s serious due to league rules. He was celebrating making the team and he told reporters he was good prior to the last preseason game.

Interesting. I don't know what to think. The one injury I wouldn't mess with is a head injury. Call it what it is. A bruised brain.

If I were him and the concussion was really that severe and it took that long to recover I'd consider retirement. Witten's probably playing another 10 years anyway.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I aaked who, dont tell me about rico, who did he go against that has you so excited abput him. Name names and skill, teams.
He went against NFL players.

It's your need to know so you need to show that all players he faced were scrubs.

He played in pre season and i didnt see many first stringers. So what proves Rico can handle the nfl?

I don't think you could distinguish Mike Lucky from Jason Witten.

Try finding somebody around here who cares what you think

]It's been pretty quiet for weeks, but a few days ago Talkin Cowboys said that his injuries were more than a concussion. Due to the angle of the hit, apparently he hurt his jaw and neck. They also said that even though he's not officially practicing, he's been working out on the side. It sounded a bit like spin to me coming from Spags, but take it for what it's worth.[/QUOTE]

I doubt we will see Rico Gathers play this season.

Even if one of the top three TEs suffers an injury, Rico would still be behind Blake Jarwin, who was just promoted from the Practice Squad in order to keep the Philadelphia Eagles from signing him.

Gathers needs practice snaps, if he stays on IR, he wont be getting them.
