To this very day I'm still wondering why the Cowboys didn't simply dish out the cash to Adam V. rather than to the "Idiot kicker"...

Adam V. signed with the Colts the day before he was to visit the Cowboys. The Cowboys never had an opportunity.

Actually, BP was asked if they considered signing him and he said no.

Looks like I'm in the minority, but I'll say there is at least a 50/50 chance he is gone. If Jimmy was still here, I'd say 100%.

At this point I see no reason to keep him.

I didn't watch the game but were both of the balls being tipped ? something might be wrong with the line.

Vandy will redeem himself with a gamewinner in Super Bowl XLI against either New England (what a juicey matchup filled with drama and irony) or Indy (a revenge for him).

Nuff said.

Yes. A game is 4 days away.
Yes. Money is involved.
No. There is no one better out there... but if he keeps missing there will be.

Seriously.... enough has not been said.... this guy is a liability. If Manning had one more big play in him this game could have went the other way.

We got this guy to make it so that when we line up for the kick we arent shaking in our shoes.... nothing has changed

Vandy is suffereing from a disease commonly known as head up the back side disease. Neither kick can be blamed on anything. They were just bad kicks.

No he won't.....not with a game in 4 days....plus, money plays a factor in this.

Really, money and his contract. What do Vanderjagt spend his money on during a week against the Colts?

A bottle of Jack Daniels, Alize, Hennessy, Remy, Gray Goose, Patrone, or all the above?

Im taking the all the above.

The plain truth from the airwaves of Cowboys America Network.

I wonder if Parcells, just out of sheer dismay at Vanderjahgt, will release him Monday"

And I hope the secondary coach follows him out the door. I think even Jerry Jones could make better adjustments than that joker coach, however he is, has made all year. I am flat out tired of our secondary being burned so frequently.

My peeps below agree.

NO!!!!!
Why would he be. Sure he missed 2 FG's, and could have been important ones. But whob would you bring in....

...consistently bad in the same way which leads me to believe he has a mechanical problem.

Can he fix it in his head? Maybe. But first I would like him to address his follow through on his leg. So far the jokes have been our kicker's real name is "wide right".

There's no one out there better right now.

But I wouldn't mind chasing Josh Brown after this season.

He's a FA right?

And he's kicked in the elements.

NO way...he has to work out whatever is making him hang the ball out to the right...it can't be that big an adjustment because he's hitting the ball great...both kicks were long ones, and both had enough leg to have made it from another 10 yards...I'm really impressed with how well he's hitting it, and his kickoffs were fairly high and making it to the five yard line.

When the guy is hitting the ball that strongly, there's nothing to get too worked up about, especially not enough to bring in some nobody who is likely to do the same thing all year.

Someone needs to stop giving him his distance and trusting him to take care of it just because of his past % history...someone needs to get in there and get him to chance his plant foot placement or his approach or whatever the problem is...since he's getting the same result every time, it shouldn't be hard to fix like it would be if he were all over the place or mi****ting the ball.

I'm very unhappy with the flake too, but with the game on the line on any given Sunday, I'd still rather see him lining it up than anyone we could bring in during the season.

...I'm guessing that he isn't snapping his leg through and across his body on the kicks from the right hash marks. Hence the "push" to the right. I'm also thorwing out there as a guess that it's still his groin and he hasn't addressed that problem.

Yes... similar to golf swing.... if you dont follow through completely through the ball you will go right or slice... I know:D
