If that's the case ....... they are not real fans ........ they may say it because they are all in their feels right now ........ but if you walk away from the team you were never a fan to begin with.
I agree with you but I assure you when this extension happens there will be a major meltdown and many will talk leaving

My response is don’t let done hit you where good lord split you

I will always love the Cowboys, but they've made me no longer give a crap about football.

count me as one un-invested fan

seen one game in two years but listen to every other one on the radio when in Texas

first Dallas memory was Dallas-Miami SB

died a litle when the Pitt dynasty was built on 2 Dallas SB losses.

Died a lot on the catch

Saw Landry's last game in person

Saw every game in the new era until they fired Switzer.

After a few other coaches started watching again

Since then it's been disappointment

A few years back i disconnected and only mildly care anymore.

I won't switch teams yet....Texans looking good short term:confused: But diehard Dallas fan?? That's over. Won't care about draft or early training camp anymore. Just start peeking at it by August. Maybe.....Won't watch to ruin my Thanksgivings or Christmas either...

Many fans hate Dak, the owner, and the HC, yet have rooms full of Cowboys gear and such. Why in the hec are you supporting a team with an owner, HC and QB that you don't like????

I think we should all be looking OURSELVES in the mirror, because Jerry is laughing all the way to the bank as we proclaim our disdain for that guy on a regular basis.

And if you say, "Well, I just root for the jersey,"...then you're just financially and silently rooting for Jerry, because he owns the damn jerseys!

Always will be a Cowboys but the NFC is getting tougher. The NFC North is gonna have 3 Dogs next season with Detroit, Green Bay, and Chicago. The NFC West is going to be good as well. I expect Washington to make a step as well. This was the year and we blew it.

Will always be a cowboy fan unfortunately lol

But I have not purchased cowboy merchandize in a few years now. I won't spend money on this product. The most they will get out of me is me watching a game on TV

Been a fan for almost 50 years and have come to realize it’s just a brand. And the Dallas Cowboys brand for me has come to represent Jerry Jones‘s ego. I am losing interest in that.

You can bash me as not a true fan or whatever but the truth. Feed me a bad meal every year and I am going to find a new place to eat eventually.

CowboysZone DIEHARD Fan
Just curious to hear if anyone has decided to officially change teams and why

I’m 48 so it’s to late for me, ive suffered for decades but if I was young I would cut my losses now
Nah, it's a habit now. Like an addiction. I don't get too up or down about them anymore but I do watch all the games religiously.

I'll be a Cowboys fan until I die. Doesn't mean I can't reject current personnel.

Why? Long story, don't wanna tell it again. See my first post in the members zone for that.

Yes because I’m loyal and they’re my team. But I’m not emotionally invested like I used to be. After 2016 I’m just like whatever. I know the QB is the biggest issue and will refuse to buy in until that changes.

Thank you for being honest.

Jerry appreciates your dedication to watching his product on the field. It all helps to make the cash register ring.

Once you choose a team, you should stick with 'em. Pretty much the posters on this board have already stuck with this team, no fair weather, band wagon fans here. I mean after all these years of mediocrity, would someone now decide to switch?
And Jerry appreciates our commitment to his franchise, no matter the product he puts on the field

52 been a fan all my life. Made it through the 1989 season also.

But, I doubt I will see every game next season. There are plenty of times this season I think I will choose fishing or something on Sunday lol.
