True. But there are teams committed to it, with the cover corners capable of holding up that can actually be pretty good. Like the 85 Bears, and Buddy Ryan's defenses. But they usually got exposed in the playoffs. A defense that blitz's is effective on QB's that aren't quick thinkers.
I don’t care what QB you have, if they have free runners coming right at them, they will make mistakes. With our CB’s( Digg’s coming back ) and a little bit more pass rush our D could be really successful with a blitz happy D. Of course the blitz’s need to be set up well.

You mean he had top level players.
Maybe, but you still have to put them in a position to succeed. It's always challenging with guys who are surrounded by talent. You may be right.

I’d feel more confident about this being true if I saw it from another source and not only bc
You might not like Bryan, but there aren’t many people as connected as he is. There’s not many people who get verified stories faster than him.

All Wink does is blitz, there is no scheming against different type of offenses. It is foot on the pedal nonstop. Dallas would definitely need to get the right players.
Exactly..............Wink just wants to blitz, blitz, and blitz and those 2-man defensive line formations he was using in New York this year was just bizzare.

This team cant stop the run with 4 down lineman, imagine if we only used 2..............LOL................every team is going to rush for 200 on us next season.

He runs a similar scheme to Rob Ryan, heavy blitzing, which usually means a ton of chunk plays giving up!
Exactly............its like the Buddy Ryan old 46 style defense.

Dont see how that scheme works in the modern day NFL unless you got a pair of probowl CBs who excel at man-to-man coverage.

Just saying, but Dak has destroyed Martindale's defense many times. I would not be a fan.
That is because Wink uses man to man coverage which Dak is one of the best in the league against.

Dak's kryptonite is zone defense, it totally confuses him and he starts seeing ghost and throwing picks all over the field.

Why do you think Green Bay played zone defense virtually the entire game against Dak.

Any DC we hire is basically wall-papering over the systemic cultural issues that are continually undermining this team.

Players are encouraged to “build their brand” and they are devoted to the idea of championship football as a concept, but they are not devoted in terms of focus, work, and team-first play.

For those that didn’t get the message of who this team is when they got thumped by SF in the playoffs twice— the GB dismantling is staring us all in our faces about the grim state of this franchise.

Zimmer, Wink, Rivera etc… just wont matter

Who would you love? Give me two
I wanted Shane Bowen.. just hired by the Giants. Would prefer Vrabel or Carrol at this point or would love to somehow get BB. That’s 4 even though the Giants beat them to one of those choices.

I actually never said I didn’t like him, you did. But he’s not as connected as you think. he’s wrong routinely and I know that bc I actually listen to the stuff he’s on bc I do like him but I like him for his anecdotes and opinions not the “gang of 7 “ non sense

Players are encouraged to “build their brand” throughout the entire nfl. That’s not a cowboys issue

Back up bruh, I wasn’t saying you as in you. I was just saying “people” in general might not like him, but he is connected over there and is usually on top of the pulse.
