With Dalton Gallup will be utilized to the fullest

The last couple of weeks Gallup has been withering away on the vine. Immediately Dalton hits him on the sideline route and deep. The last few weeks Gallup has been neglected. As Romo pointed out he basically runs the go route and he is a beast with 50/50 balls.

It was very encouraging to see Andy going his way. This will open the whole offense up for everyone. Especially Zeke. No more single high safeties with the threat of Gallup and Dalton

Also did you see the placement of the pass to Cooper, which allowed Cooper to run after the catch and pick up the 1st down. Good stuff

I wish the offensive line was in better shape but this is the hand that was dealt. Hopefully the young dogs step it up

Our passing game will improve 100% with Dalton under center.
Get well Dak but you had 4 years to prove it and failed.
Next man up Mr. Dalton!

Dalton is better than his playoff record indicates. Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals in 2003 and won the division twice (2005 and 2009) before 2010. Both time he was bounced at the wild card game. Dalton came along in 2011 and The Bengals won the division 5 times in a row. Dalton started 4 of those losing each time. In 2015 he injured his hand missing the last three games and the playoff game.

Yet he holds the Bengals records for:
  • Completions: playoff game (29 on January 5, 2014 against the San Diego Chargers), rookie season (300 in 2011)
  • Pass attempts: season (586 in 2013), playoff game (51 on January 5, 2014 against the San Diego Chargers), rookie season (516 in 2011)
  • Passing yards: season (4,293 in 2013), rookie season (3,398 in 2011)
  • Passing TDs: season (33 in 2013), rookie season (20 in 2011)
  • Intercepted: playoffs (6), playoff season (3 in 2011), playoff game (3 on January 7, 2012 against the Houston Texans)
  • Passer rating: career (89.1)
  • Sacked: season (46 in 2012)
  • Pass yds/game: career (238.9)
  • 300+ yard passing games: season (6 in 2013), rookie season (2; with Carson Palmer)
  • 4,000+ passing yard seasons: career (2; with Carson Palmer)
Marvin Lewis is 0-7 in the play-offs which makes you wonder if the fault is at QB or the coaches game preparation.

And that is your choice.
I do not disagree one bit about Marvin Lewis not being a good HC. But Dalton is arguably the worst playoff QB in NFL history.

If IS possible for both statements to be 100% true. Just Sayin'

Yes, andy Dalton is the key to maximizing michael Gallup. It’s all part of the master plan. Dak maybe was anti-Gallup on the low

does this need an /s? Yeah, probably

Do you see the way they are attacking me, Dalton, Gallup and Cooper in this post. Salty Mofo

Let them be as they have an agenda that's has nothing to do with the glory of the Star.
Andy did well today coming off the bench.
We won...the struggle continues with an improved passing game coming up.

Absolutely. Dalton can make a lot of throws that Dak probably doesn't try. If Dak had Daltons arm he would be worth any amount he asked for. The problem is the only thing that Andy is better at then Dak is passing. Everything else Dak is better. If we give Dalton time he has a chance. That's a big IF though. Guess we will all see.

o_Oafter 4 years of the mediocre king . . . this statement almost makes sense

Eh all this playoff talk? This team allowed 34 points at home to a Giants team that is missing its best player and is handicapped by Jason Garrett. If they back in at 7 and 9 how long will they last with this run defense?

I'd agree it is possible. Also I misstated. The Bengals didn't win 5 division titles in a row, once they finished 3rd, and twice they were second in their division but made the playoffs 5 in a row with Andy Dalton.

What are you yammering about? The 2nd WR has been Daks Achilles heal. Its usually a death sentence but Gallup still managed to produce last year. But this year he was being ignored
