Oh now Dak get's a horrible injury = the call for peace begins.
just one question, do you think dak would want you to support dalton or bash him??
Also people have had 4 years with dak as qb of the cowboys, to form a opinion of him.
We only have 1 qtr of dalton
as qb of the cowboys to form a opinion of him.
Lets give him 3 games, and see how he does with cowboys, before bashing him.
After 3 games then go ahead and bash away.
With no off season, no PS games, and probably not much work in practices, I think dalton did great.
How good or bad he will be the next 3 games, I dont know , and neither does anyone else.
I say we give him a chance to get in the groove of playing again.
I doubt andy thought he would play this year, and if he did, it would just be for part of a game, or at most 1 or 2 games.
No way he ever thought he would have to be the starter from game 6 to end of season.
I bet he is a little scared and nervous, and shocked too that he is now THE GUY.
You cant prepare for this kind of thing to happen, you just have to adjust your mind to it.
The coaches hopefully will adjust their minds to it as well and know they cant run same type offense they were running with dak.
Heck it was stupid even with dak and led to dak running with ball instead of elliot lol.
The other thing is Dak quit sliding 2 years ago, and lately has been running like he is a rb and taking hits, doing flips and even catching passes.
Part of that is on Dak, and was stupid, and the rest is on his coaches for allowing him to not slide and take hits.
they should have got on to him about that and make him slide, but no one did. So now he gets hurt running and taking hits.
if you look at the play he was running like a rb and that just isnt smart.
