With Lions looming how huge was win over Steelers?

It put all of their “ the season over or collapsed “ antics and rhetoric at bay.

They were ready to light the dumpster fires. They were one play away. Probably already waving the flames. The stage was set. Than the amazing TD and comeback. Lol

I already know lol. I’m pumped. I’m not saying SB I’m just happy for a W. Guess they gotta hold off on their parade of failure lol.

For some reason Detroit doesn’t scare me. Maybe Gibbs and Hutchinson do but that’s about it.

Oh no doubt. But I’ve never been scared of facing Goff. Even though he just had a perfect game. We may get blown out of the building but this isn’t one of those 49er feelings for me.

Yeah I think Goff is one of those guys to rarely go off on us despite who’s calling the plays.

But yea it’s another attempt to emphasize how huge the win over Steelers and being 3-2 is.

I know it must be very uncomfortable for all of the detractors who were ready to set the alarms and ignite the dumpster fires falling to 2-3. Lol

Same. They could blow our doors off but yeah Detroit doesn’t have the physicality that would normally make me nervous or cautious.

I'd feel much better if Parsons was playing. Goff is a rhythm passer and he needs to be pressured. Just getting close to him is enough to get him off his game. Even without great sack numbers, Parsons has been very disruptive so far this year. Someone else is going to have to step up.

I also think this staff has shown when guys are out for some reason they get bette performances from guys. At some point talent issues will prevail but if we can come out physical as we did against the Steelers and convert in the red zone this is a winnable game.

That’s the thing. I think there’s something to seeing Micah and knowing he’s gonna rush the passer. But what do you do when you have no idea where the blitz or pressure comes from? I honestly think these guys love coaching when stars are out. Of course they’d rather have them out there but they get more freedom when guys are out. Zim looked like he was having some fun.

Regardless of what we think of Dak as critical fans of the team, in the majority of the games we are going to play we are going to have the better QB. That helps a lot in this league.

I agree. And that’s what 60 million dollars is about. Everyone keeps bringing that up when he makes a mistake. I need him to outplay the opposing teams quarterback I don’t care what the stats say. I need you to be the reason I win. Lions defense isn’t the Steelers. But it won’t matter if The run game gets going. Gotta keep the defense honest or at least beat them and make them bring a safety down to help out.
