if you had to choose between these 5 players that are available at #22, who would you choose?

1. Levi Brown (offensive tackle)
2. Michael Griffin (safety)
3. Justin Blalock (offensive guard/tackle)
4. Jarvis Moss (defensive end/linebacker)
5. Ted Ginn, Jr. (wide receiver)

I'de have to go with Griffin

levi brown without a doubt

if we move A. Henry to FS..then i think a CB is a must in either the 1st or 2nd round. IMO because of the 5 yard rule, most corners are pretty equal so we can find a great CB in the early rounds and he can adjust pretty quickly..just gotta hope he isnt a dwayne goodrich!

I doubt that Henry would be able to take the job from Watkins.

I don't think there's really any chance he makes it to #22.

good...other than some kickoff and punt returns we'd get almost no use from him...he isnt ready to be an everydown NFL WR...he needs alot of work

Sure, Watkins was a green rook, but he did reclaim the starting job.

He needs work, but I don't think it would be so bad having him be a part-time player while he learned WR. You put him on the field and teams are going to have to account for his world-class speed. If he touches the ball a handful of times a game there's a chance he makes a big play with one of them. He's a weapon, kinda in the mold of Reggie Bush. There's guys that I think are better WRs than Ginn that will be available at our spot, but none that have the potential to be a game breaker like Ginn.

Watkins's rookie season >>> Henry's rookie season.

I mean, Watkins had, what? 10 INTs his rookie season?

Oh wait, that's Henry.

I wouldnt waste a premium pick on Ginn, because he is clearly a boom or bust guy and will take a few yrs to develop

give me the better WR prospects if we are going WR

I don't agree with this at all. Where do you get this?

I agree w/ it. I am very wary or one dimensioanl players, and that's how I view him at this point. Speed's his game and there's not much more to it. Also, his lack of size worries me. He may very well have the skills to make it at the next level, but I see him as injury prone. He's another Donte Stallworth to me. Great when he's on the field, but how often will he be on the field?

If we are to go WR in the first, I'd rather take, Meachem, Rice or Bowe.

3. Justin Blalock (offensive guard/tackle)

Biggest need on the team... besides coaching of course.

I wouldn't mind Bowe because I like the bigger receivers.

However, Ginn isn't too small. He's about the same size as 4 of the 5 leading receivers in the NFL last season. Just because he has speed doesn't mean that's all he can bring.

Better served in free agency (Dielman/Steinbach).

He's tall enough, but he needs to put on an additional 15 to 20lbs. At his current weight (180), I don't think he'll be durable enough to make it through all 16 games. Could he also put on that much weight and maintain his speed? And it's not simply putting on weight. Does he have the build that will allow it? That's too many "ifs" for me to invest a first round pick on when there are other options. JMO.

20 lbs? Hardly. He can beef up a little, but I wouldn't put on too much. Even if he does it might only slow him down to a sluggish mid-4.4 speed. ;)
